38yrs started accupunture - any success stories?

Hi ladies so I am using this as my outlet as this whole journey of trying to conceive #2 is becoming painful at 8 months on.

I'm 38yrs and now into 3 months of acupuncture apparently it starts working after 3 months anyone else had good experience of it?

Feeling a bit cr^p today - ANY TIPS would be good too!

PS what Clomid? is that worth a try?

I'm currently doing it ATM with Dr Zhu he is meant to be amazing so fingers crossed:)

I had acupuncture after ttc for nearly 18 months after having a termination for medical reasons.

I successfully conceived after 3 months! I was also using a clear blue fertility monitor that month and pre-seed lubricant (TMI sorry 😳)

So it could have been the acupuncture, which really did help me to relax and stop stressing about it, work colleagues even noticed, or a combination of everything.

Can I be cheeky and ask what you're cycle is I'm 34 and last month it went down to 31 since starting the accupunture but this month back to 34 not sure because he was away on the last week

28 or 29 usually. I'm not convinced I was ovulating regularly though before the acupuncture as not much ewcm (TMI again!) but definitely was after the treatment.

It worked for me! Had an MC in Aug 15, bled for 3 weeks after but then first AF (3 weeks later) lasted for 9-10 weeks (which obvs prevented TTC)
I then had another MC in June 16, I didn't want to go through the long bleeding again so I went for acupuncture (first time) to get my cycles back on track. It worked, no abnormal bleeds and periods returned to normal. I then conceived Oct '16 and am now 32 weeks pregnant - aged 38.

Not sure if it was that but like a PP said it certainly helped keep me calm. She was also good at advising addtional supplements to take etc.

I have been told three cycles which I've now done so he said I am very fertile :) let's hope so! Im going to start ttc final day of my period - how long do you usually stay on for ?

We decided to go for acupuncture on our last icsi attempt (2nd frozen blast from 2nd cycle) and it worked. I had trouble with transfers previously, the first frozen from 2nd cycle took over 90 mins to complete, no wonder it failed. Combined with a hysteroscopy to dilate my cervix I firmly believe that the acupuncture helped me conceive, it alleviated a lot of work related stress and my acupuncturist gave a lot of tips and advice regarding good foods and supplements to take to help with implantation. I started acupuncture to rebalance my hormones after 15 months of breastfeeding. My period only came back after 14 months and PMS was horrific. TTC wasn't my primary goal but I got pregnant after two sessions

Can I ask how long you are on for? Not sure if that makes a difference. Mine is short like 2/3 days (light flow).

Wonder if it makes a difference
