Cysts and TTC

I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks pregnant Sad
During scan they found a 9cm dermoid cyst on one ovary and a 2cm endometrioma cyst on my other ovary. The doctor said that I wasn't to TTC until they take another look in 6 weeks. With the view that if they don't shrink I'll need surgery to remove them.

So its 6 weeks later and I've had another scan which shows the dermoid has grown to 10cm. However, I was seen by a different doctor this time and she said we were fine to TTC. She said I'll definitely need surgery so referred me to gynae (which currently has a 5 month waiting list)!!

I'm just confused at the conflicting info.
Anyone else been through similar?
