Just started cycle 4 on day 3... looking for some company if anyone is in the same boat?

Honestly thought we did ok cycle 3 but ovulated late.. just started full month of fertility friend, temping and standard OPKs... clear blue digital opk no good for me. Made me more stressed.

Be great to hear from anyone!

I'm not on cycle 4 but your username is perfect for the PMA thread ... feel free to join us

Day 5 here, AF just finished. This will also be month 4 of trying for us too! A very similar boat indeed. Just started a new thread to do just what you're doing here, and now I've read this one, so I'll join you instead.

I also thought we'd done pretty well last cycle. Ovulated bang on time, we were far more relaxed, my AF was late ... but no!

Hard work this isn't it? It's so ironic that you spend so many years paranoid about getting pregnant when you're not ready!

PositiveThinkingCG37 · 27/04/2017 12:43

I know exactly thank you both for replying :)

I go through different moods where one day I feel really positive and another where I have doubts but I'm certainly trying my best - my blog certainly helps.

I do find myself getting frustrated when I talk to friends and family - they are in two very distinctive groups - those who tell me I'm being silly for worrying, that I over think it and need to put it at the back of my head (I tend to argue with them in my own head) ... then the ones who have been through it and just understand.

It's hard to think positive but you just have to... I have always been an optimist so my username just seemed to fit.

I'm on cycle day 5 now my AF is just finishing and I've just got some ov strips and a BBT thermometer from ebay - I've heard of raspberry leaf tea being good and pineapple for implantation.. I'm willing to try anything now! lol

Baby dust all round! x

Totally empathise with the 'stop worrying, it will all work out' comments! Barely anyone knows we're trying, but people seem to make out that getting pregnant is fairly easy! Hmm

PositiveThinkingCG37 · 28/04/2017 12:29

Yeah I totally get the sentiment and i know thwy mean well. but as they fell pregnant straight away first month, first try it's frustrating as they've not been through it. Only a small number of people know we're trying and even fewer I actually talk to about it. At first it was all exciting but now I kind of wish I'd not spoken to as they're constantly trying to second guess.

Here's to all of us with tons of baby dust!

Hi can I join? I'm not on cycle 4 but I'm on cycle 3 day 4 x

PositiveThinkingCG37 · 28/04/2017 17:12

Of course! We all in this together! Solidarity!

Just bought some rasberry leaf tea.. very conscious not to drink it past any potential positive.

I've got my game face on!

Where did you buy the tea from? I was given some agnus castus a week ago by a friend and I am trying that as she said it helped her conceive two of her girls. She was trying for 6 months with one and 3 months for the other that she is pregnant with now. The last month she used this and she thinks it helped so I'm giving it a go. I've also bought some OPKs for this cycle and I haven't started charting temp yet but I might if I don't get a BFP this month!xx

PositiveThinkingCG37 · 28/04/2017 19:42

Just got it from tesco the clipper one.
I've not heard of that one though. Also got some leafy greens, avocados, yogurts and I'm getting pineapple next week as I read somewhere it's got something in that helps implantation... willing to try anything!

I'd recommend charting if you're just starting your cycle and fertility friend app. Some people don't like the apps but I like to feel like I have some element of control others feel it stresses them out more...

Not having control is the thing that causes me stress so it works for me.

I just went on eBay for OPKs as I've spent so much money so far on tests from boots... I got my thermometer 30 OPKs and 10 hpts strips all for 8 pound something.

It's almost feels like this is my equivalent of a comedy warm up!

I will buy the tea tomorrow! I also got 30 OPKs from amazon but I haven't got a thermometer. Maybe next month i will chart my temp x

Hi guys. Can I join please? This is my 4th month too. AF due in 5 days but I know she's lurking as got all the usual symptoms (tearful, sore boobs & cramps).
I was pregnant last year. Got pregnant 4th cycle but miscarried. Started TTC again in January. Would love some buddies. I have just had a heart to heart with my DH and he feels really strongly that we should just have sex regularly and try not to worry. If we haven't conceived by Jan 2018, we should then start OPKing etc. At the moment it's making him stressed and annoyed. It also makes me more stressed too.
I'm 31, he's 36. TTC #1

Im on cycle four, but as I had to wait four months for a period this is the first month of properly trying.

Can I ask you guys how your body is a few days after ovulation. Ive had my first month in four years of naturally overlating and ive had stomach cramps since sunday night on and off. Its like a mini period cramp but not as painful. Is this normal when you overlate? Normally on the pill I only had cramps on the day I was meant to overlate and then it went.

PositiveThinkingCG37 · 29/04/2017 22:06

@thingymaboob so sorry to hear of ypur mc last year. it's so hard on both of you but sometimes daddy-to-be is stressed too. My hubby has admitted he knew so much less than he realised when we first started trying. I've been tracking everything now as I'm 38 (he's 37) and if we have to go to gp I wanted something to show her as I'm quite irregular. I totally understand the stress though . I write a blog which really helps me, hubby doesn't read it though as it gets him down.

@littleonek I generally don't feel a lot once I've ovulated except twinges but I often mistakes cramps for backache and bad wind.

I'm now day 7 and the spotting is finally subsiding... two days in if rasberry leaf tea and one more week until potential ovulation.

Baby dust to all!!

Thanks! I am still getting a sharp stabbing pain on my right oveary since my ovulation last sunday. Now the painful swollen boobs. I dont remember my normal periods before the pill being this bad. Shock I guess our bodies are still adjusting to creating their own hormomes.

PositiveThinkingCG37 · 30/04/2017 08:30

@littleonek yes possibly although I haven't been on chemical birth control for 6 years and had normal periods (if irregular) and I don't remember ant symptoms whatsoever before we started trying except my awful cramps ( especially the ones where I can't stand up) since we started trying I notice litteraly everything as I'm looking for it. But as I've started logging it all I now know what a 'nirmal' cycle for me so if anything different occurs it could be something else.
