trying to conceive

I have been trying to conceive for the last few months, on the day before my period was due (Sunday) I had a thick brown stringy discharge followed by some spotting. On the Monday until this afternoon I had lighter bleeding than my period but has now seemed to have stopped. I took a pregnancy test but was negative. Has anyone else experienced anything similar ?

Sounds like you had a weird period, it happens unfortunately. I would take Sunday as cd1 and move onto the next cycle. Best of luck with it x

The best advice is to have sex 3-4 times a week as semen can live in your body for 3-5 days. Don't overly try to time it to the day before, just every two to three days regularly
