Home insemination

I recently posted on here about ovulation testing. Once I've figured out my cycle, my partner and I would like to try home insemination to increase our chances of conceiving. It's difficult to get time to dtd with my 10 year old in the house to begin with and with the added pressure of ttc..... I'm 36 and feel like my biological clock is ticking.

Has anyone done this before and it been successful?

Surely if he's going to have a wank in private you can dtd in private??

Haha well it's easier to hide. My ds so very nearly caught me on top of him a few weeks ago. Never moved so fast in my life
