Late AF but still bfn ...

Hi all,

So ... AF was due yesterday. We've been trying for three months now for #1 and since coming off the pill at the start of the year my cycle has been like clockwork at 27-28 days. Even before the pill, I don't remember it being late. Anyway, the night before it was due I had some brown spotting and assumed that was me out for this month. But it hasn't actually materialised into anything and now has me confused! Took a test yesterday evening (day I was due) and got BFN. I've resisted testing again this morning and am going to see what happens today.

Just want to see if anyone else is in the same boat and wants to join the impatient wait, or if anyone has ever experienced anything similar and gone on to get a BFP?

Morning! 8 days late and still getting BFNs here! Feel like period is imminent but it's been like that for over a week. Very unusual for me, I was quite ill with a bad cold mid cycle, that's the only thing I can think may have caused it.

I'm sort of late!! Due today and like you normally like clockwork and comes in the morning. But no sign! And bfn. And temp drops. Where is af??!! I think I've only ever been late all of about once in my life!

Seems like a few of us in the same boat! Still no sign of AF ... been feeling fairly nauseous for the past couple of days. All very strange. Resisting the urge to test again until tomorrow! Fingers crossed all round!

Me too @Thisyearistheone2017 feeling nauseous, tummy cramps, sore nipples... but you don't know if you're imagining it do you! X

@Hotpinkangel19 - I know what you mean about starting to feel like you're imagining things! Having said I wasn't going to test again ... I did. Patience has never been my thing. Another BFN. Hopefully the weekend will bring some answers!

Still no af...!

Still nothing here, really fed up now and just want to know either way.

Had some light bleeding this morning, so I think that's me out again for this month! Very frustrating. I hope the rest of you have more luck and AF doesn't show up!!

Af in full flow now... 1 day late. Hurrah?

@Sazwest I did on a one step cheapie. Bfn.

I didn't get my bfp til 6 days late. Bfn at 2 days and 4 days. 18mo ds now throwing duplo around the lounge. You're not out until AF is in.

Still nothing here, have had bad lower back ache the last few days. Not testing agin now until the end of this week. If I'm 2 weeks late and still getting negative tests do you think the doctor will do a blood test?
