Hey can anyone give me a brief summary what to expect with charting.
Like when can i expect a dip.. a peak?
What would it look like if i wasn't pregnant... what would happen if i was ect.

Whats a coverline? I'm using ovia to track.
I'm trying my hardest to do it about 7.30-8am everymorning.( depends on dd waking)
Thanks!

In short, your temp is lower before ovulation and higher afterwards.
If you are pregnant, your temp stays high (and may go a bit higher). If you're not, then it drops back down and your period begins.
You can't use temping alone to predict ovulation but it does confirm ovulation has happened, so together with observing cervical mucus /using opks and knowledge of previous cycles it can tell you quite a lot,
A cover line helps you to see the pre- and post - ovulation temp ranges more clearly. There are different methods of drawing one and when I've used online software for charting I have just let the software insert it using its default method.
I'd recommend you get a copy of 'Taking charge of your fertility' by Toni Weschler, which is hugely informative on this stuff.
