Can anyone help please I'm due AF in 6 days.
I ovulated last Tuesday/Wednesday have the opks to say I did 🙂.
Anywaysate Monday night/ early hours Tuesday I had some pinching, pulling and cramps ( thought it might be implantation) today I've had to stop myself from been sick twice whilst out. I have no pregnancy tests at home so thought right see if opk picks anything up and it has, both lines are of same darkness. Could this mean it's picked up pregnancy 🙂🙂.

Pics below of my opk I just done xx

I really need to stop doing opks just done one before bed to see what come up and both lines the same darkness again. I know I've said it before but I deffo ovulated 4/5th April my opks I have done since yesterday dinner have been same darkness both lines ( if I had ovulated late (which I know I haven't) the lines both wouldn't stay dark for this long 36 hours almost ) I've done 6 opks since yesterday dinner time. Xx

When I ovulated at the start of the month I got my dark positive late afternoon dtd that night, I did another opk following afternoon and 2nd line was there but not dark enough like the test the day before but still dtd for a few more nights. Theses lines have all been the same darkness on all tests since 12.30 yesterday afternoon. Xx

Do a pregnancy test today and you'll get your answer.

goldielocks29 · 14/04/2017 08:53

I agree with waiting, do a pregnancy test and you'll get a clearer idea. There's no point in using OPKs as that's not what their designed for x

They're*

Hotpinkangel19 · 14/04/2017 09:42

@Sazwest this is today's test, even darker. Have you done a pregnancy test today?

I believe that opks CAN pick up pregnancy- however I really don't see the point in doing them instead of a pregnancy test. Just do a pregnancy test with Fmu surely? If you are pregnant, a hpt would pick it up if an opks is picking it up and at least you'd get a proper answer.

Chattycat78 · 14/04/2017 09:49

Hotpink- sorry to be a party pooper but if you're only 5 or 6 dpo, implantation might not even have happened yet (happens 7-12 Dpo so you wouldn't be producing hcg yet.

Hotpinkangel19 · 14/04/2017 10:04

No I agree, I just think it's interesting! I'm just tracking to see if there's any truth in it, I got my last BFP at 8DPO but it was v v faint, and he's 6 now. X

Do you have PCOS? I think some women say they get inaccurate results with OPKs if they do. Or maybe you didn't ovulate earlier in cycle and your body is trying to release egg now and that's why you have positive OPK.

Sazwest · 14/04/2017 10:22

@Waitingonasmile no Hun I dint have pcos not that I know of and I got positive opks last week in my fertile days xx

@Waitingonasmile I'm wondering if I'm ovulating late!

Sazwest · 14/04/2017 11:22

Does anyone know anything about position of the cervix. I've been checking it the last 3 weeks so I know the difference and today I can't reach it xx

Waitingonasmile · 14/04/2017 11:24

That has happened to me hotpinkangel19 ovulated on day 30 in the end but had almost positives before that. It's hard to tell a proper positive from a near positive but the test line should be darker than the control line. Good luck x

physicskate · 14/04/2017 13:06

Cervical position goes high during ov. It can also do so during pregnancy, but is not sure fire symptom. Raised cervix in pregnancy generally happens much much later than a positive test.

goldielocks29 · 14/04/2017 14:08

Step away from ALL tests Saz!

You can get an LH surge before your period (as someone else he mentioned), or you might be ovulating later this cycle, which might account for the OPK results you're getting.....or it might just be one of those weird things.

Stop peeing on OPKs, just hang in there and use a pregnancy test on Monday and you should hopefully get your answer.

Sazwest · 14/04/2017 14:13

@goldielocks29 I've stepped away from them lol: no test for me now till Monday xx
