We are a bunch of ladies who are either

• humping (TTC)
• by humping yet (waiting to TTC)
• humped (BFP)

And everything in between!

We've had 8 BFPs since January (and counting!) and we love a bit of lucky lube and a squinter on 9DPO - come and join the madness!

I'm 11dpo and yes I'll be testing again tomorrow 🙈

penguin hope you feel better soon. Well done for soldier-ing (is that even a word?) on to work and there's no shame in going home. Tough to work when you don't feel well.

orange sorry about the BFN but as everyone says you're not out till AF arrives so there's hope yet. I'm tired of TTC too and it does feel like it's never going to happen. Hope Easter won't be too bad, I know what it's like to have friends and family constantly asking when we are going to have a baby! If only they knew...

jupiter your lamb story made me laugh. I can't believe you had a lamb at your desk. Why is it dangerous for pregnant women?

Hi all, sorry been quiet today, catching up on all the mad work! Felt a bit rough this morning and so very anxious, but has eased over the day. Thanks for all your kind words.
My sister has booked flights to LA to keep me company so I'm feeling a bit better about it.

I'm wearing a bra for the first time in 10yrs and it's SO UNCOMFORTABLE omg how do people do this every day? I can literally feel my boobs growing out of it since this morning 😂 they will be by my chin at this rate.

Mummy it has got to be your month! I am crossing my fingers so tight for you. By my calculations to get my faint FRER BFP at 10dpo I must have implanted at 8dpo which is very early so I think you are definitely still in with a chance!

Jupiter your sheep 🐑 post made me LOL at my desk! I had no idea they were dangerous for pregnant women so maybe your colleagues don't either - they probably still have no idea you are upduffed. I am a little shocked at the NHS just allowing lambs on desks though!

Hb my baby brain is very real. I keep forgetting normal words for things and having to describe them..

Red that's so cool about your farmer friend. I don't want a Christmas baby either but I'm hoping this one will be early / on time as due 10th! I'm cutting it fine though with mat leave intending to start on 4th..

I'm still on the fence about telling mum / sister / DH family.. I could do with the support for my mental health but it could backfire (I'm still getting my head around being pregnant myself, and they will be really excited). DH is being great though and called me 3x today to check I was ok (this is literally unheard of - his family have been known to call me to check he is still alive!).

I'm getting twinges / stretching pains on the right and also on the left. Think one is the ovary and the other could be my aggressive placenta?? Who knows!

So had my scan and I have follicles trying not to get too I've excited as last cycle I had good follicles but sadly didn't ovulate. Anyway I've got 3 on the right and 2 on the left. A bit worried the doctor will say too dangerous don't try but not all of them will grow and I may not even ovulate. Anyway am happy for now and really hopeful for this cycle. The disappointment however if it doesn't work will be devastating.

grumpy when are you planning to tell the family if you decide to ie how much time do you have to decide ? What does DH think? Hope your twinges/pains settle down

teddy welcome and sorry it's been such a long journey. We've been TTC for 16 months now so not as long but long enough and getting utterly fed up and depressed!

Thank you for the welcome. Yes my DS is called Teddy and he's a little bear at only 2. We started trying as soon as we could really because I am getting on in age and we liked the idea of them being close in age (21yrs between eldest and youngest in my siblings). I've started tests but it's slow going and we only get told what's wrong and won't get any help like IVF IUI etc because we already have a baby.

Need the luck. I'm rather confused as to the whole thing 😆 don't know why it hasn't worked!

I love the name! I really want to have that if we have a boy, DPs step dad is Edward too so we'd have that as a full them then Teddy for short, but DP is not sure about naming them after a family member, even though he's super close with him! We'll see!

Are you temping, opking eoding? I imagine you're exhausted with a 2 year old I feel like I wouldn't want to do that much deed doing! 🙈

Really hope you get your bfp soon teddy! Did you have difficulties conceiving your ds?

Grumpy is there one person you could tell so you've got someone to talk to but who will understand your anxiety about things? Someone who won't just be super excited? It's really hard to know what the right thing to do is!

I've run out of painkillers and have no hot water bottle. Have period like cramps, and sitting feeling a bit sorry for myself.

grumpy the lambs were only let into our team office - not a patient area and because we're mental health (check-up from the neck-up) there are no hygiene concerns :) Hope you're feeling okay today.

I do OPK but don't think I understand them. I thought I was getting a positive but looking online people say it's not positive and so I'm confused 😂 don't do bbt though because i am always up with the small person at 5am and keep forgetting. He was conceived 3mths into my relationship 😬 not the planned start we had but so very very excited!

Grumpy I can't even imagine what it is like to not have to wear a bra for ten years. I won't even do it for one day! Maybe if your sister is going to LA with you, she would be the best to tell and explain you don't want a fuss just someone to talk to about it x

Hi dancing hope the cramps have eased off for you. I've told my 2 best mates but they don't really understand my anxiety (I feel like family will, but they also could react over enthusiastically if you see what I mean). Also I don't want to worry that it'll leak to wider family and some idiot will post something on Facebook for all my work colleagues to see.

Otters that's great news about your follicles. Good luck this cycle! Basically we could tell MIL FIL SIL and BIL + MIL's French side of the family at easter this weekend, and we are seeing my mum on easter Monday. Right now my gut feeling is keep it quiet for a while longer till I'm more comfortable with it myself. Ideally 20-25 weeks, when I tell work!

Jupiter that explains why you know so much about anxiety meds! I did laugh about the sheep!

Just in from yin yoga, it's a warm room but not hot. It's a meditative practice where you hold poses on the floor for 5 mins each. Not a workout but it was nice to stretch and feel calmer. Trying jivamukti tomorrow! No idea but it's meant to be more vigorous...

JB that's right, I was thinking of telling my sister when we are there. But I'll wait and see how I feel. No bra is bloody great, but I still would rather not have had implants, they kind of get in the way in yoga etc. Also I just realised I might get worse stretch marks this time that means! As boobs will literally be twice the size they have ever been!

It is strange. But there's loads of reasons why it might be. I had a massive PPH when DC was born and I'm wondering if that's a cause. I'm waiting for an appt for a hycosy so that'll be a telling test x
