23 days late!

Hi, so I'm just looking for some advice or ladies with experience.

Currently using the old fashioned withdrawal method (I know!) so not planning but if it happened then we'd be happy. Had unprotected sex on ovulation day last month. Most months I am a religious 28 day cycle, some I can give or take a day either side.

However I'm now 23 days late, but had 4 negative hpt. Had symptoms such as swollen breasts, spotty skin etc for the past 2 weeks. Spoke with the Dr who sent me for a blood hcg test. Had that done this week and waiting for the result.

Today I suddenly had horrendous cramps and a massive gush of blood with clots (sorry for tmi). Never had pain or flow like this.

Could this be the start of a miscarriage or could it be my system catching up with itself because I'm so late. Currently laid in agony, dosed up with heat bag feeling confused.

You should ring 111. You could be having a miscarriage, in which case you will need medical treatment to ensure that it wasn't eptopic or that there isn't any products left inside your womb which could cause issues when you want to get pregnant later on.

Thanks, I don't want to feel stupid and call because I've not had it confirmed as a pregnancy yet. The blood flow has been weird, since that big explosion its been on and off. All just so unusual for me x
