I know there a lot of women on here struggling with infertility. I just wondered, what are your fertility issues? What kind of treatment are/have you had? I don't know anyone in real life who has had fertility issues!
Mine is Asherman's Syndrome. Basically scarring/adhesions in the uterus that prevent eggs being able to implant or remain implanted, causing infertility and/or recurrent miscarriages. It can also cause endo due to backflow of periods in the case of scarring in the cervix. There is treatment available but it's so specialist that having it done on the NHS can actually make it worse so it needs to be done privately and even after spending all that money, there are no guarantees. The difference between AS and other fertility issues involving tubes/ovaries is that you only have one uterus and if it's not good enough to support a pregnancy then there's no back up! It also means IVF cannot be an option, you can't grow a baby without a uterus.
