Ovulation tests on 35 day cycles

Has anybody successfully used ovulation tests on longer cycles? Google tells me to start testing on cycle day 19 but that feels a bit late given a couple on Months ago I had a 28 day cycle.

Thinking of trying SMEP as I'm feeling pretty impatient !

My cycles were typically 33-35 days long and every month I got my positive OPKs on cycle days 17-18.

In your case I would just start testing a week after your period ends and take it from there.

My cycles have been 31, 53, and 38 days for the last few months. I start OPKing on day 12ish with cheapies and keep going until I see a line.
