when is a line not a line?

I took an ic test this morning and got a faint line but too close to the control line. What does it mean??? Anyone had this? I'm 14/15dpo and af a day late

Looks like just flooding/bleeding of the dye. Take another test! Hope you get the result you want soon.

That little line is misleading but it's happened a few times to me on the pregnancy and ovulation tests. It's the dye bleeding on to the dividing bit between the section you dip and the line area

Update. Taken two more, both BFN. Still no AF....the agonising wait continues but I'm not hopeful. Assume I didn't ovulate this month CD37 and counting...
