The wait!!

Had my copper coil removed at the start of my last period in Feb. We started trying as soon as period ended. I used OPK from day 10, but only got a 7pack so never detected a surge. We dtd every other day so who knows. My period is due roughly on Tuesday. My plan is to test on Wednesday if AF hasn't arrived. This past week I've had funny symptoms, Wed, Thu & Fri I had cramps on my left side below hip, lots of backache, headaches and some dizziness. I've also been extremely tired and have a lack of appetite. I'm trying not to read too much into it and can find alternative reasons for most of these symptoms but..... CAN'T STOP HOPING!
Where is the fast forward button so I can skip ahead to Wednesday?!

Yeh I had my copper coil removed in February whilst on my period also we dtd on what I hope was my fertile days as I didn't use opk sticks for 2 days but the days before that they were dark just not as dark as you need them. I was due my AF yesterday and still nothing at all I always have spotting for 2-3 days then period starts the 4th day and I'm never ever late.I'm so constipated it's unreal I never get constipated (sorry tmi) I've done loads of hpt and all come back negative. Gonna wait till Monday-Tuesday and test again xx

If you are trying to get pregnant, I suggest using pregnacare fertility, i had a m/c around 3-4 month ago, used them and caught after a month, im now 8 weeks x

Get a clear blue 6 days early test, that should help and give u a quicker result. But just because it doesn't show straight away doesnt mean you aren't, mine took 2 weeks till I got a positive

Yaz what is that? The only pregnacare I know of is prenatal vitamins etc.

Pregncare fertility contribution, your partner can also take it. There's a men and women's one, go into boots or superdrug, even tesco etc I caught quick using these and i was the only one using, so might of been even sooner if my partner used them too. Xx

@Yaz879 I've been taking the frer since I was about 9dpo and all bfn. I was due AF yesterday and I'm never late: gonna wait till Monday -Tuesday to test again. How come it took 2 weeks after AF was due to get a positive for u xx

How do u use it if you don't mind me asking xx

Looked at box which just found its called Pregnacare before conception it is in boots superdrug etc n most supermarkets I caught after a month of using. Comes with 30 tablets x also available for men

It is a tablet you just swallow with your main meal one a day on a full stomach with a cold drink. X x

@Sazwest because my hgc levels werent high enough for the test to detect, further along the higher they get which is what you want x x

Aww right. And did u do your own hpt or did u go to the docs x x

So it's just vitamins? I take seven seas fertility tablets, folic acid and vitamins. As far as I know they don't improve your fertility but they mean that embryo gets developmental support straight away.
I'm waiting till day after AF is due so I don't get too obsessed. When TTC#2 I tested loads and got very stressed. I want to stay calm(er) this time

@sazwest at home, sounds wierd but when I did it from a cup and dipped it in i got negative? Soon as i did it straight onto the stick i got a positive, strange xx

U can always go docs and get a blood test and that will tell u if u are xx @sazwet

Yeah try it straight onto stick as that was only time i got positive for some strange reason xx even if it's negative dont worry because it can show up later! X

What tests have u been using. With me been late I'm not sure weather to buy a frer or a cbd xx

I can't remember it taking this long for a positive for my others lol. But then again I was a crazy lady the last 3 times testing all the time.
I'm at docs Monday so gonna mention it to them xx

Your doctor will test for you? Mine never would. The first time I was pregnant I went to the doctor, expecting him to do a test to confirm (like I had seen on TV/in films) and he laughed, said I had done a test, got a positive and his tests were no better than mine. I was actually a bit miffed as I wanted him to confirm that I wasn't imagining it

Haha. Well when I'm there Monday I'm gonna tell them by then if AF hasn't arrived i will be 4 days late and tests are showing up negative x
