I can't help but give in.. Surprise surprise bfn at 8dpo today. I didnt think it would be positive but couldn't help myself.
I was 9dpo with DD though!
af is Due this sat.
I'm not even disappointed im just annoyed with myself for pi**ing away £8.
I tell everyone dont test early..blah blah and dont take my own advice..grr..Rant over.

So hard!

Apparently 12 DPO is when most will reliable get their first positive...

However, I have a feeling you'll keep testing til then!! At least get cheap tests in!!

I did last night as well, and i was only 4dpo... In my defence I'm on nights and got confused about the dates!

I have 10 IC's to try.. so I'll use them until af is due, well i hope i will haha.
I have 3 more frer's in..might get dp to hide them. I'm working the rest of the week so atleast that distracts me, well...Kinda

@BlueSpottyTiger I got my bfp off a Sainsbury's test on Sunday but then took a cbd today and it was negative so don't have a clue what's going on. I stupidly took an ovulation stick to see if anything come up and it did then thought ohhhhh maybe I am. I don't know what to think

I tested this morning also at 9dpo and it was bfn but af isn't actually due until early next week. I've had cramps for the last week but not feeling very hopeful now (even tho it is probably too early to test) xx

saz i did warn you about the cbd... i really don't rate them, thats why i said dont worry if it says not pregnant, they are really unreliable! Yeahh opks can show pegnancy can't they!? I read that somewhere! X

Hey all, jumping on after doing a frer at 12dpo bfn, Aunt Flo due in 10 days, I ovulated early....

Lots of cramps, twinges and niggles with spotting up until yesterday, much less today. Think my body is playing tricks... again 😭

At 8DPO 65% of pregnant women will get a negative test. You only need to wait 2 more days for that to be more like 30% and if you wait until your period is due you can be pretty confident about the result.
Stop torturing yourself and pissing away money. Squinting at evap lines at 8DPO is a mugs game.

Ooo.. thats interesting oyster I'll be using a IC tomorrow.. least i dont feel sh*t about wasting them.
No evap lines to be seen though.. i throw the tests away a few mins after doing them as not to prolong the agony. Are you ttc?

I've been crampy and i even thought af would have started yday. Usally the day of or before af i get terrible cramps up until day 2 of af and thats how i felt yesterday but no cramps today just a weird ache on my left side where my uterus would be
I might be symptom spotting and thinking i don't have these usally when i do

I've been cramping since 4dpo with on off spotting. I don't trust my body anymore though.

My oh thinks my boobs have swollen too, I think that's wishful thinking!

I've just started ttc, still waiting for first proper post pill af. I drove myself mad testing early for the first few cycles trying for DD but soon realised it wasn't good for my mental health!

Right, I need some advice ladies :) ...I tested for ovulation on 4/3 (sat) in the morn and got a flashing smiley face then I tested again late at night and got a static smiley face which then lasted for 48 hours. I counted this as I ovulation on the 5/3 (sun) but does it mean I ovulated later than that?! Otherwise my luteal phase is 16 days and now that'd make me 9dpo and af wouldn't be due for another 7 days?!
If my luteal phase is slightly longer, does that mean I have to wait longer to test than the average?! Sorry for all the questions hehe xx

@Littlemisssugarplum88 snap!! I don't know what to think! My cycles are 31 days so not due to test until next week Monday at the earliest! 🙈Aunt Flo not due till the Friday!! Argh!!!

My cycles are 31 days too. I'm cd 25 today and 10 dpo. Ovia says I can test from Friday. I took a test yday morn but it was negative so I'm hoping it was just too early to test coz I actually 'feel' pregnant this month :/ Good luck to us both xxx

Im not very clued up on cycles i find my own so confusing! Goodluck to you both ❤🍀.. i thought i had a 27day cycle but i have 26days until i get af then you count af as cd1 again don't you? So if im due af on sat and i don't get it is that the first day of my missed period or the day after?? Argh im confused lol

It is all very confusing isn't it lol. I'd probably count the day af is due as first day of missed period.
I'm feeling really tired already, I have headaches and I had to get up at 4am for a wee. Boobs don't feel particularly sore tho :/ xx

I'm cd23 around 11dpo. Did a frer yesterday which was also negative!

Constant twinges,spotting, mild backache and huge boobs although not sore
-are not helping to keep me sane! Ovia also saying test from Friday but might wait till at least Sunday! If I can!

I would count Sunday as first fay of missed period?! Who knows though 😂🙈

I'd been ttc for over 12 months originally then I was put on metformin because I wasn't ovulating to stabilise my hormones and I fell pregnant 6 months later but then had a mmc at 11 weeks via a scan; had no pain or bleeding so no warning at all so it was a complete shock. So this is my 3rd cycle since the mmc and this cycle I had an internal scan at cd13 to show I was ovulating so I've felt quite hopeful all of the cycle. Guess I will soon see. How about yourself xx

This our 6 cycle.... I think i don't ovulate regularly so if my period comes this month I'm heading to my gp.

Overall when I'm sensible about it all I feel ok about the whole thing but it's been such a steep learning curve.

Thanks Hun, it certainly has been a rollercoaster of emotions over the last 2 years but I know that when it does happen I will be even more grateful.
I was having regular period beforehand but I just never fell pregnant so I went to the gp and had bloods taken and I was told I have poly cystic syndrome (the imbalance of hormones causing me not to ovulate rather than cysts). Never had any symptoms really that my hormone levels were off.
Please keep me updated this cycle and I really hope we get a bfp very soon xx

I tested a week after af was due by which point I was quite sure I was pregnant (not only due to no period! also my PMT symptoms were not my usual). I wasn't tempted to test early as then I would have been convinced it was a chemical pregnancy etc.
