Choosing a subfertility unit - help needed!

My sister has got a telephone appointment this afternoon where she will be offered an appointment with a local subfertility unit. Does anybody have any idea how she should decide which to choose? Or any recommendations for Manchester/Cheshire? Or does it not matter until she gets further along?

Thanks!

I would suggest she looks at the www.hfea.gov.uk website. There is info on the main page on the right hand side about choosing a clinic and treatments.

Is the local subfertility unit NHS or private?. In the initial stages at least she may be better off under the NHS.
