Been off the pill for a week, no period still?

Hi, I've been on the mini pill for about 8 years now ( about 3 years ago I was on the implant for a year after concieving but not successful. ) so roughly about 2 years now but for the past 3 months I wouldn't say I've been perfect with the pill. The past month if I missed a pill I would start to bleed so decided to come off the pill to let myself naturally have a period. It's been a week now and I still haven't had a proper period, I have had sex during the week off (planning to get caught) and I'm just wondering if anyone's had the same thing? I've taken a test but it's negative. I ovulated the week I was off the pill so I'm assuming it's to early to know anything?

It took months after I came off the pill...

My periods were very odd for about 6 months after I came off the pill. However, you might be pregnant so maybe test again 14 days post ovulation?

That's what I'm thinking. I'm getting too excited and know I shouldn't have bothered to take a test yet. Didn't think it would happen that fast, every twinge I get I'm terrible for thinking it's my period coming and feeling heartbroken.

I was on Cerazette before ttc DD, and I had no bleeding for about 3 weeks after coming off it. I also felt like I might have been pregnant about 10 days or so after coming off, but it turned out those were withdrawal symptoms.

I eventually bought some very cheap pregnancy tests online (a pack of 20 or so), which made the times when I wondered if I might be pregnant less expensive!

It took 65 days for me to get AF! I had every pregnancy symptom under the sun when i first came off.

Then my last cycle was 32 days.

I came off the minipill last month after being on it for 3 years and getting married in June so wanted to give my body enough time to regulate a fairly normal cycle. Had withdrawal bleed the following day after stopping the pill which lasted about 4-5 days. Proper first AF came on day 24 (I used to be on a 28 day cycle) so wasn't too bad. Im now waiting to see if this months cycle will be the same which if im going by another 24 day cycle should be 1st April.

As others have said though you may have already caught it (lucky you!) so keep an eye on it. Minipill is renound for pregnancy symptoms though, I've been fortunate enough to not have any but fingers crossed for you!
