BFP has turned into BFN - no AF though

Hi I posted on here a few days ago for advice. I'd got 3 BFP's then a negative. Since then I've had 2 more positive tests but today it's negative.

I'm soooo confused and don't know what to think. I've used Sainsbury's tests, FRER and today a cheap one because I'm sick of spending loads of money on tests. It's gone like this...

Sainsbury's (S) - neg
S - pos
S - pod
Frer - pod
Frer-pos
S - neg
Frer - pos
Frer - pos
Docs - neg (she only left it 30 seconds)
Cheapie - neg

I'm so confused. Has this happened to anyone else or can anyone shed some light?

Sorry your going through this. Could it be due to the time of day and sensitivity of the test that you are getting negative results? Eg for the sainsbury one that was neg could it have been later in the day, urine more dilute than the other positive ones?

Also possibly the Dr's one and the other negative you got tests maybe weren't as sensitive?

Would the Dr's check your blood levels of hcg for you?

This happened to me in November was pos for 4 days then negative was a chemical. ..hope this isn't the case for u xxx

Well I am planning to ask for a blood test but I go on holiday tomorrow so can't even be seen until a week tomorrow and then I'll have to wait for the results. I did think maybe it's sensitivity and time of day issues but surely at this stage of being 4 days late it would show whatever the time and sensitivity?

I have heard of others who have maybe been a week late etc before getting a positive test. You poor thing such a long time to have to wait. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!

Go on holiday - have a relaxed time - test on the first morning back. Good luck

My advice is Be to use the same type of tests at the same time of day. At least then you won't be blaming sensitivity and diluted urine etc

I used a frer 2 days consecutively in the morning, I did one on Friday and one on Saturday. Saturdays was more faint....

I'm so sorry but to me it sounds like a chemical pregnancy . The lines getting fainter and then having a couple of negatives...

The best thing to do is probably to wait it out. If AF still hasn't appeared, you can get a blood test in a week, and if it's a chemical pregnancy then your AF will probably show up within that week.

Fingers crossed that it's a lovely confusing surprise, and you get strong BFPs soon.

I think it's a chemical pregnancy too. It's frustrating thing is is it's not as if I tested too early and would never have known if I didn't. It makes it harder that I'm nearly a week late and it's only now that things seem to be going wrong.

@ricecrispies16 do not stress yourself. Faint lines can end in healthy pregnancy as well. My OB told me that the result of the test depends on the concentration of the urine. Last November I had chemical and I POAS 5 days after I started bleeding and the result was actually clearer than the first test, when it was really faint. So relax a little bit and do not stress yourself. I am gonna keep my fingers crossed for you :)
