Can I test in the evening if AF didn't arrive today?

AF is either screwing with my head or...

I'm usually a regular as clockwork 28 day cycle. Today is day 29. OPK gave me the smiley face and all was good.

If I go to the pharmacy on my way out tonight can I test this evening or do I need to wait until the morning? I so want to know (and have a BFP)!

I'd personally wait until the morning. If it's a BFN you'll just end up wondering whether it's just because you tested in the evening.

I am on the same cycle day as you (tho I can often be 2 or 3 days late so don't want to get my hopes up!) I always test first thing in the morning when the hormones are strongest. Have you had any symptoms? Hope you get your BFP.

Yes of course just buy a 2 pack and check again in the morning if you get negative.
I got my bfp in the evening as I bought the test on the way home from work and have no patience

I think I will wait... just in case AF decides to arrive in the morning (she always comes first thing in the morning for me).

Main symptom is incredible bloating the last two days. Driving me nuts - my jeans are so tight! Been getting headaches the last two mornings also...

I wouldn't have the patience! If you are already late for af I am sure a positive would show in the evening

If your period is late then in theory it will show day or night. That said, if you test and don't get a positive I wouldn't rule it out!

Buy two tests. Test now and then again in the morning when your wee is stronger.

If you are already late you may well get a positive even at night. No way I could wait til the morning!!

I was really disappointed last month when I did a test & got a BFN. I'd rather wait a bit longer & then the hope is still there that it might be a BFP. Do let us know!

By the time I got until town the pharmacy was shut. So if no AF in the morning then I will see if I can get into town for a test.

However, I'm feeling a bit like Hazy - should I just leave it a bit in case I'm just late. Also, I had a chemical mc back in Dec 15 so wondering if it's best just not to know.

I think I'll test on Sunday is no AF (cycle day 31) unless AF arrives. I've also had 2 chemicals in the last 6 months. So cruel to get a BFP & days later you're not pregnant :(

Yep. In the early days I always got stronger lines in the evening. The FMU thing is a bit of a myth. Once its positive, its positive no matter what time of day.

No AF this morning and boobs are hot, heavy and hard....

Sorry about your chemicals Hazy. That is really harsh and I'm sad you've had to go through that.

The line isn't really strong, but it's more than an evap. Will do a second test in the morning as have a pack of two... but looks like I am pregnant!!!

I was sure it was PMT but think I was trying to prepare myself for the worst. Knew it felt a bit different really but didn't want to get my hopes up.
