I have been ttc for going on 9 months now and I have been charting for 3. Usually my temp hits 98.6 and then drops the next day and I start. This month 10dpo it hit 98.62, 11dpo 98.4 and 12dpo today it was 98.65, I wonder if this is a good sign. Anyone know anything about temping?

IIRC it needs to stay high for 10 days

Hi

If your temp stays high for 18 DPO, then you can pretty much guarantee that you're pg.

For most people the temp dip will occur 12-16 DPO, but after 3 months of temping, you should know on what day your temp normally dips. This part of your cycle, the luteal phase, tends to be pretty steady in every person, ie if you have a 12 day luteal phase, then you will generally always have a 12 day luteal phase. It is the time before ovulation, which varies from cycle to cycle, unless you are one of the very lucky women, with very straight-forward, regular cycles!

Hope this is longer than previous cycles!!

Good Luck!!
