i am in disguise, i have my fake tash and glasses on

basically i am on the pill, my last period started around the 23rd of Jan.

at some point after my seven day break i missed a pill (forgot - well i fell asleep with my eldest and didnt wake till the am) then at another point i was staying over at my mothers and had forgotten my pills so had missed another (dont ask which days i honestly cant remember)

then when i got to the end of my packet my DH was starting his weeks holiday from work and didnt want to be on my period so continued my next packet the next night (so havent had a break)

now im on my next pack (about a week into it) and am feeling odd

Really tired (not usual for me), peeing alot, and got spots - which i never get,

ive also got period pains and had a few bad stabbing pains, and alot of discharge and mucas

if you were me would you test to check for pregnancy or is it to early? am i right in assuming if i carry on to the end of the pack i will bleed even if i am pregnant because its a withdrawal bleed?

i feel so silly, im not 15 ffs im a grown woman, i should not have gotten myself in this situation - and after i missed the pills i didnt use extra protection - please dont lynch me for my stupidity!

I think you should test, just to put your mind at rest over it all. Honestly don't know if it'll be to early or not, but worrying isn't going to help, whether you're pg or not.

Taking 2 packs back to back may be causing you to feel unwell. All you can do is a pregnancy test as that will let you know one way or the other.

If it's the combined pill, you may be fortunate, it's not quite as dangerous missing one as on the mini-pill, but seeing as you missed more than one, it's getting possible you could be PG. If you missed any of the first 7 pills after the break that's the riskiest. Seeing as you feel like you've got symptoms I would test now, and if neg and you still feel like this, about 3 weeks after the last missed pill. You may or may not have a withdrawal bleed if PG - think it varies from person to person.

good luck!

I only took packs back to back (3 mind you) once because it gave me pg symptoms. I suspect quite a bit of it was in my head because I was paranoid at not having had a period for so long, but the symptoms such as tender breasts, tiredness etc were real. I was bricking it but test was neg and period came at the end of the pack as normal.

I don't think you'd get a withdrawal bleed if you were pregnant though.

I have taken packs back to back and didn't feel too great when doing it. I used to get all the pre menstrual symptoms (things that could be mistaken for pregnancy) but without the bleeding and they did seem worse than normal. When would your period have been due? Not sure about a withdrawl bleed if you are pregnant though. Good luck
