Yes! Congrats!

Bellyrub1980 · 04/03/2017 06:32

Definitely a line there!

PetalMettle · 04/03/2017 06:33

Clear Line!

ClariceBeanthatsme · 04/03/2017 06:33

I'd would say you are definitely pregnant and actually that's quite a strong line to say AF is due today, I've had much fainter tests when I've tested way after AF is due.
Congratulations Flowers

Thank you so much! I actually can't believe it, we've only been trying since January, for some reason I thought it would take ages!

I have a cb digital for if I got a positive, is it worth using after my first morning wee?

And sort of a silly question, but what do we do now? Grin

Congratulations! I don't think you even need the CB digital tbh.

Now you just wait for the 12 week scan!

And give up loads of things like booze, caffeine, soft cheese etc etc

ClariceBeanthatsme · 04/03/2017 06:50

Vitamin D and folic acid supplements if you aren't already taking them.

DarcyParty · 04/03/2017 06:51

Thanks Bellyrub :)

Do I need to see the doctor to get it confirmed first? And I lift heavy boxes around and climb ladders at work, will I need to tell my manager straight away do you think?

I suddenly feel very unprepared!

Im taking the pre pregnancy ones Clarece, will I need to switch to the pregnancy ones?

OP posts:
ClariceBeanthatsme · 04/03/2017 06:58

I would probably just finish the pack then yes switch to the pregnancy ones. I'd call your doctors surgery and speak to the receptionist and ask if you need to see a gp or whether you can you just make your booking in appointment with a midwife, from 8 weeks I think.
I'd mention it to your employer they may want to do a risk assessment.
Exciting times Smile

Sazwest · 04/03/2017 11:11

Yes that's deffo a positive lovely congrats Grin xx

ethelfleda · 04/03/2017 12:58

I tested with an exact same test this morning- AF not due for 2 days and got a fainter positive than that (backed up by a clear positive on FRER) but have still bought a CB digital for in a few days time Smile

moobeana · 04/03/2017 13:22

That's no squinter!

That's a line!

A baby!

Yay!

DarcyParty · 04/03/2017 13:24

Congrats again ethelfleda! I bet we have really similar due dates :D Clear blue digital reckons I'm pregnant, guess this is it!

Squinter, eyes please?

Thank you everyone, I'm so excited! Feels a bit unreal to be honest.

My only concern is my father was a non idenyical twin. That doesn't raise the likelihood of me having twins does it?

OP posts:
PetalMettle · 04/03/2017 13:49

Judging on this yes...but you never know! www.babycenter.com/404_is-it-true-that-giving-birth-to-twins-runs-in-families_10323566.bc

ethelfleda · 04/03/2017 14:19

Darcy yes - according to my app I am due 16th November! And twins run in my family as well Shock

AmyB1986 · 04/03/2017 14:55

D'arcy congrats, my sil dad is a non identical twin and she's carrying non identical boys at the min. Her cousins have also had non identical twins so I'm guessing it does increase the chances 😁

InfinityPlusOne · 04/03/2017 14:57

It does make you more likely but it's the same history in my family and I had to singletons so it's by no means a certainty. The odds are still pretty low. Congratulations!

InfinityPlusOne · 04/03/2017 14:57

WantToGoingTo · 05/03/2017 15:02

Call Gp they will make you a midwife appt for when you are about 8 weeks for booking in (weight, blood tests, book 12w scan etc). Congrats!
