This morning I did a pregnancy test as 1 week late. Test was positive and I was walking on air. I couldn't wait to tell DP, he can't wait to be a Dad. Anyway, about 10 hours into my shift I got awful cramps and now I have my period. I am devastated and I don't want dp to feel like this too. Just needed to share.

I'm sorry to hear this. It is so cruel.
It's the down side of early/buy at home tests.

When I had a missed miscarriage last year my doctor said how much extra pain they cause as in years gone by you would have just thought your period was late.

I hope you are ok and have someone to cuddle and a nice glass of wine or other on the sofa.

Please tell your DP, yes it will make him a bit sad too but you need him and I'm sure he wouldn't want you to suffer alone.
