No pain, but it was quite a bit on wiping and then actually had a few drops in the toilet.

Seems to have stopped for now but I just don't feel it is right.

physicskate · 09/03/2017 22:12

Be kind to yourself. I'm really sorry if this does turn into a miscarriage, but bleeding during early pregnancy, by all accounts, is not uncommon. Might help you if you ring the epu?

DuRezidal · 09/03/2017 22:15

I don't think the epu will do anything until 6 weeks

DuRezidal · 10/03/2017 06:48

It's turned to brown spotting but I am going to see whether I can get to epu to find out what's happened.

Kiki18 · 10/03/2017 07:16

Earth is right durez all is not lost yet.
That sounds very similar to what I had - fresh blood on wiping thought it was the beginning of my af, went brown with a little clot then I had brown spotting for a week. Thankfully 3 days after this I was due for another early scan and we saw the heartbeat and everything was good. Had the same with a little less blood a week later called GP and had another scan and it was just where beanie was settling in. I'm now 10weeks + 2 days. For me it happened at 7 weeks + 8 weeks - it could just be things settling in xx you could try ringing GP to refer you to epu?

DuRezidal · 10/03/2017 07:27

Would they refer me at just 4 weeks?

Kiki18 · 10/03/2017 08:23

I'm not sure but it's worth a try x

Footy1 · 10/03/2017 09:12

@DuRezidal agree with others it's probably just settling in. Get checked out regardless.. thinking of you and big hug. Xx

Thissameearth · 10/03/2017 11:12

You can self refer at my EPU DuRez

Each time they've got me in and scanned me same day. They can also do bloods to see if you're hormones are growing at the rate they should. Up to you whether you want to do that but it can also rule out anything harmful to you.

I can be the keeper of optimism for you if you're not feeling it Smile

Thissameearth · 10/03/2017 11:13

*your

Kiki18 · 10/03/2017 12:46

Let us know how you get on durez.
Earth - any room for a second keeper?! I'm optimistic for durez too! ☺ xx

Mimilicious013 · 10/03/2017 12:48

Thinking of you durez hope all will be well

Tee4me · 10/03/2017 13:22

@DuRezidal hope you're ok! I've never heard of an epu not seeing anyone based on weeks... hope you got seen and mind put at rest. My twin had a full blown AF when she was pregnant. Absence of cramps is encouraging. It's not been a easy journey for the grads! Looking forward to seeing some healthy 12 week scans asap! x

DuRezidal · 10/03/2017 14:00

Thanks everyone. I ended up going to the EPU following a referral from the urgent care unit.

They took bloods and I showed 357 at just touching 4 weeks so have to go back on Sunday. The doctor gave me an internal (nothing really showed) and took some swabs.

I am still spitting brown watery stuff at the moment. I have actually taken myself home because didn't sleep last night and feel exhausted by it all.

I did a test this afternoon and have included it.

Kiki18 · 10/03/2017 14:10

Glad they are looking into it for you durez - try and get your feet up and rest if you can (believe me I know it's easier said than done). Perhaps it's implantation bleeding?
I don't know if you'll find it reassuring but they told me not to worry unless it was bright red or I had pain with it - brown means old blood.
Fingers crossed for Sunday hope all goes well xx

DuRezidal · 10/03/2017 14:13

Thank you Kiki, I am not feeling hugely optimistic to be honest, mostly because they said he HCG was low for coming 4 weeks (will be 4 weeks tomorrow going off last menstrual cycle).

Londonjam · 10/03/2017 15:21

Hi girls sorry I've been away, I've been posting more on the infertility boards as it seems more appropriate now. The consultant said we need IVF with ICSI so we will be joining the NHS waiting list. We are looking into paying for it in Europe to speed things up.

I hope you are all doing well. Sorry you are having such a tough time durez, I hope it all works out well for you.

Thanks for thinking of me, I'll check back to see how you are all getting on and hopefully see some more BFPs, scans and babies! xx

Tee4me · 10/03/2017 15:56

Hi @Londonjam, good to hear from you! Out of interest, why are they recommending IVF? From memory the only thing that came back from your tests was DH slightly low morphology... have they picked up anything else? Or do they just go down that route after x amounts of months trying?
It's something that's playing in the back of my mind. Lady I know had an embryo transferred this week, so I guess she's now in 2ww wait but with a much higher chance of a bfp! I like the idea of ivf speeding things along but have no idea of costs x

Kiki18 · 10/03/2017 16:03

Good to hear from you jam!
My brother had IVF for my nephew - it didn't take them long to conceive him so hope your bfp is not too far away once you get going on it jam xx

Londonjam · 10/03/2017 16:11

It's the low morphology tee. The consultant took one look at our SA results and said yes you'll need ICSI. DH has another SA this week and has been on proxeed so I'm hoping to see some improvement.

We've been trying for 16 months now and never had a BFP. No chemicals, nothing. So something not right!

Costs - it seems to be around £6-£7K in the UK and from EUR 2K on the continent. I'm looking at Reprofit in the Czech Republic. There's lots of helpful advice on the infertility boards.

Sorry its taking you so long for no. 2 tee it must be incredibly upsetting and frustrating.

Londonjam · 10/03/2017 16:14

Thanks kiki. The NHS waiting list is 9 months and we are waiting for the referral too, so the soonest we would get treatment is December right now, unless we pay. The waiting is killing me, so I think we are going to have to save and pay for it.

DuRezidal · 10/03/2017 17:01

Just found a post from 5 years ago with my previous pregnancy (my 5 year old is currently sat here cuddling me) and rather shocked as I don't remember bleeding/ spotting for so long!

Here it is if anyone fancies a read: babyandbump.momtastic.com/pregnancy-first-trimester/632531-looks-like-over-me-update-pg-14-huge-thank-you-me.html

Tee4me · 10/03/2017 21:24

Wow bet that was a blast from the past! Do you feel better knowing you went through this before?

I seem to get so much cramping in 2ww, it's getting me down in the dumps! Can't help but feel like my body is rejecting or proofing itself to any potential pregnancies. I clearly remember not having cramps when pg with DS. Just don't get why this ache creeps in every time now! Last month was around 3dpo, this cycle more like 6dpo which put me in a bad mood because I thought maybe this time was different.
8 or 9dpo today. Have booked a Doctors appointment for 30th March to discuss all this. Would desperately love a bfp next week and convert this appointment to a notification of pregnancy app!!

Tee4me · 10/03/2017 21:29

I'm quite surprised @Londonjam, as they weren't particularly concerned about the morphology at the time were they? That consultant sounds rather abrupt!! I wouldn't give up hope for it happening naturally in the meantime, although I can understand you wanting to pursue privately. Is your DH being supportive? Mine said he wouldn't go down that route, so I just have to pray it happens naturally.
When do you get his latest SA results??

Londonjam · 11/03/2017 00:25

Tee it's impossible not to read into things but I think twinges and cramps in the TWW are not unusual whether an egg fertilises or not. It must be impossible to not compare it to your previous pregnancy also. Its maddening, I'm glad you have a dr appointment booked and I hope you get to cancel it and celebrate a BFP instead. Our gp dismissed low morphology completely - the consultant contradicted her totally. It's such a specialist area; I am frustrated with the GP for not referring us sooner. The consultant was very abrupt and blunt. I had to have an internal scan right there - was so unprepared and found it quite embarrassing. There was hardly any time for questions and were bundled out the door for blood tests. We were both in shock I think. We cried when we got home. I still can't believe this is really happening to us.

Anyway it is what it is. We have to live with it and hopefully with some help we can eventually conceive.
