have the coil but couldi be pregnant...

all the symptoms of being pregnant [sore boobs and tum, feelin sick etc] but a neg result from my doc.
had the coil put in 6 weeks ago, could this be causing my symptoms. sorry totally clueless bout coil

the coil mucks your system up for a while, try not to worry

one with hormones, thsts all i know. a nurse recomended it after i had a mc

i've got the non hormonal one.

there are more people here with experiences of the mirena and hopefully they'll be able to help you more.

I had that coil and had all the symptoms of pregnancy but it was just the hormones playing havoc

But I must have gone through about 10 pregnancy tests because the symptoms were so similar

you better test just to be sure (did you test before you had it put in?)

yeah neg b4 it was put in. my nipplesare so ore i have the cold and a cold sore so maybe a bug plus hrones. av everflt sooo preg tho.

my sister fell pregnant when she had the coil but hers had come out with out her knowing is yours def still there

cant feel stigs but was told this was normal. did hers come out ith bleedig

they never found out how it came out she went to doctors becuase she tried to check it was there one day and it wasnt so went to doctors and they scanned her to see if could see it but could not but they could see my lovely niece
all they said was must have come away with one of her peroids

try not to worry, it does take time to settle in, you'd have noticed if it had come out

Tip for coil users...always check your coil is still there! I was advised to have a rumage round after each period {hmm} so I do a full 'lady bits' fettle every month...boobs, IUD et al

I have a non hormonal coil so I can't advise on your symptoms, sorry

had a "rummage", cant feel anything there!
very painful stomach!
Can anyone tell me if i am supposed to have a period on the coil?

Also feeling really sick!

Get yourself to the doctors please...just to have it checked out.

You should be able to feel the strings during a good rummage.

I can even feel some of the metal bit at my cervix...don't know if I should be able to do that but I don't want to see the gp about it in case he thinks I'm weird...I've already asked him to find my strings
