#2 PMA all the way to BFP xxx

So we've maxed out our first thread, the positivity is building up nicely and we're joyfully moving on to a brand new thread...

This thread is for anyone TTC and is bursting with positivity, love and support as we cruise towards our BFP's.

New rules instead of saying AF due we say BFP due ...
Also you do not have to add your age or what cycle number you're on if you don't want to ...

The ultimate aim is to get everyone to destination BFP ASAP...
however the bus ride may take a little longer for some of us ...
it doesn't matter if you take the scenic route ...
as long you get there.

Ah yes I've heard about the pre-seed dolly. I might try that next month as clearly we need to try something else as nothing is working. We did do SMEP this month. But we tried it another month an obv it didn't work

I'm confused now as I was thinking I was cd30 since my last period started 3 Feb but since Feb only had 28 days I'm only cd28! My cycles are normally 30/31 days and I couldn't understand why the online calculators were telling me to test on Sunday / Monday! I'll do another tomorrow morning and Sunday morning anyway!

Dolly you inspired me to test so thank you! Can't believe we got our bfps on the same day! who's next??!?

Things we did differently this month -

• started with the smep and dtd cd8, 10, 12 then missed days as I was away and dtd 17, 18 and 19 (I think - Def 17 and 18 anyway). I'm not sure when I ovulated! Any guesses based on that?!
• I drank 2 cups raspberry leaf tea every day from cd1 to cd14.
• we used conceive plus
• we started taking the tesco conception support duo vitamins
• I joined this thread late January I think - the pma from all you lovely ladies has definitely been a contributing factor!!!!

I keep thinking I've got loads of symptoms because I'm 3 days late but I actually think it might be because I have to sleep on the floor so just ache all over because of that

I took a test this morning but it wasn't positive yet. Do you think it matters what type it is? They were 12 tests for £5 😂

It depends how sensitive they are - usually the first response ones are the best from what I gather lala ... I would maybe invest in one of these ... buts it's totally your call xxx

I have one but I'm too scared to use one because I know it'll be 100% reliable and anything except my bfp will make me eat my body weight in cake! I'll try one tomorrow. It's month 20 of trying so I should be used to this by now

Awwww lala we all know the fear factor of testing ... I'm 4dpo so will have to face that fear soon too xxx

I think it depends on the person as well lala. Hcg doubles on a daily basis when you get pregnant but for some women that won't start happening until after their af was due, others will get it from much earlier. Don't give up hope yet! You're not out until af rears her ugly head!!

I had done my FMU so I literally went back into the bathroom and squeezed out a bit more (sorry TMI) into my testing pot and did the IC. I thought I saw a line and danced around nervously not knowing what to do (I woke him up last week as we had had builders in and 2 rolls of loo roll had disappeared and I needed to know why - he wasn't best pleased so I wasn't sure whether to wake him up or not lol!) But I decided this was a bit different than #toiletrollgate so I woke him up with the IC and went "I think I see a line ... ". He said he did too but to do a 'real' test lol so I pulled out the FRER that's been gathering dust for a few months (!) did that ... 2 lines ... eek! Then remembered about the baby grow - I said oh wait, hold on, forget you saw all that, here you go!! He is working from home today while I am in work unable to concentrate!!!

Ladies - March is definitely the month who is next to test?! Excited!!

moo I am so excited for you, I'm unable to concentrate either 😂 I am so made up that the bfp's are starting to show... I really want to test myself now but at 4dpo It would be ludicrous.... I too have a couple of frer's gathering the dust so I think the earliest I can test is Tuesday but that would only be 8dpo so I think I should wait at least another week

My DH knows that AF isn't due until sun so hasn't even thought I would test early and I still haven't told him yet as he's at work! I want to make it a lovely surprise for him when he comes in but I've no idea how! Any suggestions ladies?
Haha hippy I was exactly the same!! I was debating the pros and cons of POAS by 8dpo, was desperate to do it! The last 3 days have been THEE longest wait!
