So we've maxed out our first thread, the positivity is building up nicely and we're joyfully moving on to a brand new thread...

This thread is for anyone TTC and is bursting with positivity, love and support as we cruise towards our BFP's.

New rules instead of saying AF due we say BFP due ...
Also you do not have to add your age or what cycle number you're on if you don't want to ...

The ultimate aim is to get everyone to destination BFP ASAP...
however the bus ride may take a little longer for some of us ...
it doesn't matter if you take the scenic route ...
as long you get there.

Sorry to hear about your BFNs nanny and bella - it's a complete bummer but you can both at least have a guilt free wine or seven this weekend!
Aww I hope your friend gets her BFP phase but it'll be hard for you at the same time, although youll be right after her with the good news anyway!
CD 20 today! 4 DPO I'm counting it as and so far not symptom spotting, not that there would be any symptoms anyway I doubt LOL! Just want this TWW to finish already.... crazy wishing my life away like this!
I think it's just something left to get her BFP for February?! And then it's on to us early March-ers. Come on something .... make us all proud and give us PMA-ers the first BFP and a high note to leave February on! ..... no pressure

Hippy that's my fave position too and I've often just hung around for a minute just to make sure everyone is in!! 😂 You know when you're getting to the end of your toothpaste and you squeeze along the tube??!!

Ive started back on the opks expecting my peak probably in about 4 days, thinking i should make sure i have some Doreens waiting before that tho hahaha

I'm not sure when my bfp is due, I am on the boring place cd 5 today, and my cycles are irregular. They vary between 28 and 38 days, argh. Let's say it's due 22.3, and we shall see. Salem re cycles: my lp is 11 days, and I used to worry a lot about it. But have been pregnant twice with that length now, and have typically tested with a frer on 12 dpo and gotten strongish lines. Have also heard that it's not something to worry about unless it's less than ten days, but I'm sure dr google will say do worry and don't worry at the same time...

Hippy, I think about the on top issue myself. It's usually our preferred position (can't believe that I am actually sharing this rather intimate detail with people I don't know). I hope it doesn't matter and that Doreen find it's way to the egg regardless. Good luck with the FW activity btw. Sounds like it's working out!

Thanks for the feedback ladies - sorry for all the details not really . i think I may have got off a little bit too early because I noticed more Doreen dribble after I got off .... Sorry to hear about the recent AFs :-( Positive vibes your way for next month ladies.

I'm very much 50/50 on which way my weekend/BFP/AF is going to go. I was feeling symptoms earlier this week, very tingly nipples and metallic taste in mouth but since Thursday these have gradually lessened. OH and I have discussed testing Sunday night if no AF by then so will keep you all posted.

Sorry for my recent bout of tmi 😝
Well it's cd15 for me and I've just poas opk and it's still giving me a blank circle which has totally thrown me and stressed me out the line is getting stronger but it was still a blank circle.... at 5am this morning! I've got one piss stick left which I will use in the next half hour impatient lady desperate to get upduffed syndrome
And will then be making my way to buy some more tests which I'll be royally robbed for as I positively hoped not to have to buy anymore
Dp is working today so I can happily poas throughout the day to catch this surge come on Mother Nature give me a break
The dtd seed has been set with dp already and he said he's up for it ... cm is egg white watery so I'm just gonna have to carry on regardless
I can't believe I've impeccably scheduled dtd to coincide with my 'usual cycle' and now I may ( I say may as I'm hoping to get peak result at some point today #PMA ) have been thrown a bit of a curve ball ....
why is tTC so freaking tricky for some and not for others

dolly I'm totally with you on this wishing your life away to bring in new life, it's crazy - everyone I know that has kids says that time goes fast and that they grow up so quick ... but when your tTC time is just on go slow xxx

sarahb loving the toothpaste analogy 😂 After posting about positions yesterday I then read that it doesn't really matter which position as long as the sperm get in there ☺️ I was reading about sperm yesterday ... healthy men produce around 70 to 150 million sperm every day however the ejaculation only contains 10% of sperm ... that's still a lot of sperm... surely one of the swimmers should get through soon :)))

It's definitely darker Hippy do not fear! I've read (this could be totally wrong) but that your body produces LH in the morning with the surge. So your body can't really detect the peak until after 10am really as your body needs to process it. An ideal time in day is 2pm. So dont panic. It might of surges this morning. Your body might just still be processing it. Test again at 2pm 😊😊

I always test at 5pm every day ish. Faint pink line yesterday so will see what today brings CD15 aswell obv!

Definitely getting darker Hippy. As Anna said, ideal time to test is after 2pm as it takes 4 hours for the surge to process into your urine.
Test again at 2pm and hopefully you will see the smiley opk!!!

Yes we had a break from DTD yesterday, will try one more time for good luck tonight and then that is it!!! I am officially in the 2ww although it's more like 9 days 😳.

Hi was hoping I can join this post. First ever post 😊
I'm 27, TTC #1 cycle 2 hoping for BFP March 1st.
Been having cramping the past few days, and sore nipples. So got myself really down that AF was about to arrive. Stumbled across this thread and it really has given me a positive outlook on things. 1) I'm in until AF arrives 2) If AF arrives, I can't start again - no need to stress over it. It's really nice to read about everyone going through similar emotions as I am right now.

Clearly there is a big gap in my knowledge regarding these opk sticks which incidentally I've just stocked up on.... went for the same ones as you salem ... thought being that a flashing smiley is better than a blank circle. I was pleased to see these bad boys were on offer... a whole pound off ... thanks for your generosity Boots!!! Got the purple pack with my points though so at least I can poas today knowing I didn't pay for them 😂😝😊 xxxx
