Hello. Im currently 3-4 DPO (days post ovulation) with AF/BFP (Aunt Flo/Big Fat Positive) due 22-25th Feb! Did plenty baby dancing so fingers crossed and have promised myself not to symptom spot or go Google crazy this time. Ive also swore not to test until 18th Feb ... Do i have anyone in similar place so we can support each other and talk (while avoiding google lol) xx

Pingus, I did the same and got a bfn too. I know it is way too early but couldn't help myself! There is still hope for us yet!

OnNaturesCourse · 17/02/2017 09:12

Im out this month. Good Luck Ladies xxx

I've had lots of the usual pre-period cramps and spotting so I'm expecting AF this time next week. Boo. So I'm probably going to have a glass of red tonight! Does anyone else secretly hope they're one of the very small minority who continue to have their period whilst unknowingly being pregnant?!?! Lol!!!

tuxie11 · 17/02/2017 10:25

I've woken up with the sweats and the most greasiest hair I've ever had in my life. It's disgusting!!
I also have really raised Montgomery tubercles (is that right?!)

Who said TTC was an attractive feat 😂

emsler · 17/02/2017 12:01

I'm 11DPO, AF due on the 21st and I'm desperately trying to hold out until then before testing, even though I have some of the symptoms I had last time I was pregnant (MMC) - poor sleep (either not sleeping or crazy dreams), tender boobs, headaches, the odd bit of heartburn, sore back and this morning I was almost sick. BUT we're trying to buy a house so it could also be stress related. Argh!

teaandbics · 17/02/2017 12:06

Hello all,

Sorry for the radio silence. Also very sorry about the bfns (although all pretty early so there's still lots of hope!) and especially those who are out now Sad. (Thank you for starting the thread nature and I'm really sorry). I bloody hate the roller coaster of the 2ww.

I'm totally confused as I kept testing with the opks and according to clearblue (purple flashing face one) I'm having high fertility again. A week after a solid smiley?!? No idea what that means, but as I had the same thing happen in the 3 months of tracking my cycle after I lost my baby, I'm wondering if my body keeps gearing up to ovulate but it's then not happening. But as AF is due next week, I can't see it. Who knows. This ttc is such a f&cker

welsh your message really resonated. It's a year in July since I lost my baby boy and I really wanted to conceive before then as it'll be such a low and a ray of hope will be so needed. I'm feeling like it's not going to happen for me. It's still early though, and I have everything crossed for you. For all of us xx

Have a feeling I may not make the weekend testing plan!! apple talk me down Grin

appleseedpip · 17/02/2017 16:51

Hello hello I'm here! Apologies for not being around the last day or so.

First off as Teaandbics says for the ladies who tested bfn and are still to get their AF, the fat lady has not sung yet! I remember previously I tested on CD 30 and got the faintest of positives (I reaaaallly had to open my eyes and stand in the back garden daylight to see it..) but it was there! I tested again 3 days later and got a strong BFP instantly. So things can still take some time to show up. and for that matter Nicanew and Koolkoala I hope it's a strong BFP for you two when you test again in a few days time :)

For those who have their AF, sorry this month hasn't been the one but please try not to feel deflated, I know it's easier said than done but it's better to stay positive. Having you all on this thread has been a fun exciting highlight
for me and a thing I look forward to reading and catching up with each day. A big thank you to Nature for creating it at the perfect time :) Can we all 2WW and AF it together again next month please seeing as we're all in sync together?? Lets stay strong together girls!

AJE84 your cramping and spotting could have been implantation? especially at 8-10 dpo? As I said earlier not out till AF arrives!

Emsler! Teaandbics! (shakes you both by the shoulders) get a hold of yourself girls! Step away from the tests!! I'm still thinking my AF isn't due till the 23/24th it's too early to tell.. Though my house is tidier than ever and I've organised everything.. even organised DH's many different types of unpaired black socks.. That's what 'distracting' yourself from testing does.. but honestly I'm determined to wait it out till AF arrives or test on the 24th! (looks at calendar) that a wonderfully long 7 days away..

In terms of symptoms, yesterday I wanted to vomit HARD whilst DH drove us to the shops BUT there were a lot of roundabouts.. haha!

Also about people asking when will we have a baby etc. I tend to throw my head back in laughter and shrug it off with 'OH goodness we're not mature enough for that yet? We're just a couple of toddlers ourselves toddling about the house!' and take a huge swig of wine. I also HATE the idea of people knowing that we'd be 'trying'.. AhhH!!!!

BumpleLeeds · 17/02/2017 18:22

Another bfn this morning. AF not officially due until Monday though, so I'm still hoping!

OnNaturesCourse · 18/02/2017 00:06

GP thinks i have a grumbling appendix 😕 today was not a good day. We definitely need to stick together through our next month!

OP posts:
teaandbics · 18/02/2017 08:33

Morning all,

apple I'm suitably admonished! Am backing away from the hpts (but am still in "am I seriously ovulating again??" hell as clearblue is still flashing at me. So my poas addiction is being soothed by using the opks!).

Yes please to sticking together next month seeing as we're all synchronised.

emsler have you broken or still being good?

There are some tests today aren't there? Exciting!

nature what a rotten day. I'm so sorry. Sending you FlowersBrewCake.

Xx

Rufus200 · 18/02/2017 09:42

12PO, Dr thought this was a failed Clomid cycle as follicles too small

Needing some 2WW buddies.
OnNaturesCourse · 18/02/2017 10:27

I think he may have been wrong rufus... 😀💗

OP posts:
appleseedpip · 18/02/2017 10:56

AH RUFUS!! Huge congrats!! What a sight to behold :) Your follicles were ripe and ready!

Nature that sounds grim :( hope you get plenty of rest Flowers

Bumple not out yet ;)

teaandbics never really understood the whole OPK results thing to be honest :S perhaps another egg is being released?? You never know? and actually for that matter.. This could be quite a personal question but do any of you have sex in your 2ww?? I'm never quite sure what to do then :S In all honesty I think DH is grateful for the little break after I throw him about the room during ovulation Blush..

OnNaturesCourse · 18/02/2017 13:47

DP and i do, but not as much 😂 we go back to "normal" which is 1-2 times a week.

OP posts:
teaandbics · 18/02/2017 16:48

rufus woo hoo! Congratulations!

apple who knows. At least it means I have a reason not to test yet. But my hands are twitching Wink. Your question made me laugh as I'm thinking, am I in the 2ww or am I back in fertile week and starting again? Poor DH! Xxx

BumpleLeeds · 18/02/2017 16:48

And I'm out. Wine for me tonight then!!

Ha, we have a week or so off. Our house is so busy that it's difficult to fit dtd in anyway. That's one of the reasons we're using the OPK this time - need to know exactly when to get going Blush

BumpleLeeds · 18/02/2017 16:49

Congratulations rufus! Glad to finally see a positive!!

nicnacnew · 18/02/2017 16:50

Wondering how two tests which say they are same sensitivity can show diff results with same sample. Ic showing faint line bit clear blue showing nothing. Anyone else had this? AF due tomorrow so going to wait before testing again.

PurpleTygrrr · 18/02/2017 17:33

Woohoo! That's great Rufus! Congrats!!!
Hopefully a few more of them in the coming weeks! Xx

nicnacnew · 18/02/2017 17:49

Congrats Rufus Smile

PingusMistress · 18/02/2017 21:28

Yay Rufus! That is brilliant, shows just how little doctors know Hmm

nicnac it might depend on the test sensitivity and whether you use FMU or not. I know clear blue digis are less sensitive than a lot of tests, was yours a digi? Maybe try a FRER?

nature sorry you have had a crappy couple of days. I always think those nice people like you that start these threads deserve a bit of extra luck and baby dust. Hoping things improve soon.
At least many of us will be in the TWW together again which makes it a bit more bearable!

I've got my test in the bathroom waiting for tomorrow morning. Had a stitch today for the first time in months, I got them all the time when I was pg last time. But I suspect that is just coincidence/wishful thinking/walking up a big hill...

nicnacnew · 18/02/2017 23:10

pingu both said they were 25mlu, both from same sample, not fmu though. Will try again on morning.

PingusMistress · 19/02/2017 08:50

BFN here again. CD29, which is when I got my BFP with DD, so I suspect I may be out. Although I did ovulate three days late this month. Damn that slim thread of hope!

PingusMistress · 19/02/2017 10:01

Ok, so I just went back to the test and I thought no I see the squintiest of squinters. Am I going mad? Might be an Evan but it looks a bit pink.
