Hello. Im currently 3-4 DPO (days post ovulation) with AF/BFP (Aunt Flo/Big Fat Positive) due 22-25th Feb! Did plenty baby dancing so fingers crossed and have promised myself not to symptom spot or go Google crazy this time. Ive also swore not to test until 18th Feb ... Do i have anyone in similar place so we can support each other and talk (while avoiding google lol) xx

Ohhh amazing news, congrats!!!!

Nature, snap 😞 god damn period has arrived today for me too, bitch! Also extra annoying as it's 2 days early so I'm only 12dpo which is slightly alarming as I'm now worried about having a short luteal phase 😟

PingusMistress · 21/02/2017 12:10

Thank you my lovelies Smile. I'm going to lurk a bit and give you all some moral support. I don't quite feel ready to graduate to the pregnancy boards yet, I'm an old bird and I've had an MC before so now I can stress out about that instead!

Sorry that AF got you nature and passmethewine.

appleseedpip · 21/02/2017 12:34

Pingu!! Congrats!! So happy for you :) I was going to say I'll miss having you around! ;)

Nature and Passmethewine sorry to hear AF's arrived. I was wondering why would a possibly short luteal phase be worrying? Apologies.. I'm still learning..

nicanew and hannabanana that's so funny :) especially your dream about baby growing under your ribcage!

Teaandbics I struggled!! and everyone talking about OPK's I went and wee'd on an OPK last night! I don't really know what I'm looking for though :S hehe but I did some research and there's a chance they can pick up HCG but a HPT is a lot more sensitive. The fact that your smiley's been there could be a sign??! (Fingers, toes crossed!) No symptoms or constipation :( I think I'm pretty much out now but I was wondering.. if you wanted to test on thursday morning instead.. Lol! That way I get a chance to have a glass of wine sooner.. :|

Efferlunt · 21/02/2017 12:49

Can I join? I've been trying for about six months but for some reason feel this my be the month. No symptoms apart from wanting to eat everything in sight (could be just me). Due Sunday.

HansSolo22 · 21/02/2017 12:55

Hey pingus, congratulations!! Lovely to see some good news Smile. I have started my normal cramps now so I'm guessing my af isn't far away now but we'll see. Best of luck to everyone still waiting!

nicnacnew · 21/02/2017 13:20

Aww huge congrats pingu Smile. nature and passthewine at least we can keep each other company next month. Hoping af stays away for everyone still waiting. hannahbanana haha not had any dreams but do have the odd imagine moment.

OnNaturesCourse · 21/02/2017 14:18

passme is that a regular thing? If not i wouldnt worry about it, could be a blip. Im bang on 14 dpo today. Not full blown AF yet but guessing ill not want to leave my bed tomorrow 😞 although hoping she might be more normal this month. Last month i had pink discharge for two days, nothing for a few more, then brown discharge for a few days, normal but clumpy flow for one day then red but only enough for a pantie liner for two days. In all i counted as a 4 day AF but super crazy low flow. First off BC though so might explain it! Its all so confusing x

Well I'm out this month. Good luck to those still waiting. For those out this month already, next month will be our month!!

teaandbics · 21/02/2017 14:45

Congratulations pingu!! So happy for you, that's wonderful news 🎉

Hi to hannah and efferlunt - sending you good luck vibes

Really sorry about AF pass, nature and hans Sad but like hans said, next month is your month!

apple yes, yes, yes to testing Thursday rather than Friday! Am hoping you won't be able to have that wine though! I'm loving all the 2ww opk action that's going on Grin Also have fingers and toes crossed that a flashing face is a good sign, but who knows?! Also, no symptoms is not necessarily bad (loads of people don't even know they're pregnant in the early stages, right?) so don't lose hope yet.

Ok, so Thursday testers, what tests are you using? Clearblue digital, FRER?

OnNaturesCourse · 21/02/2017 15:33

Ridiculous but... My brown discharge has stopped. Mother nature is playing games

passmethewine123 · 21/02/2017 15:49

Apples a short luteal phase is worrying as it means you shed your lining potentially before an egg has a chance to implant. I think anything under 10 days is considered short, I'm 12dpo today so that makes my luteal phase 11 days this month which is terrible but could be worse i suppose.

Nature I'm not sure if this is regular to be honest as I've only been tracking my cycles for 2 month and last month I'm not sure when I ovulated. Fingers crossed for you, late implantation perhaps?!

chocoraisin · 21/02/2017 15:50

Congrats Pingu!!

hey all, I'm trying v v hard not to obsess. But at the same time, i just bought 5 pregnancy tests Blush because I know I will test too early and then want to test every day!! DP last night referred to 'our five children' (we have 2 each and none together) by accident, so I know he's thinking about it lots right now too - but we're not talking about it together in a weird 'don't jinx it' sort of silent agreement.

chocoraisin · 21/02/2017 15:52

PS symptom spotting wise, I'm trying to reign myself in. I'm only 3DPO but already want to see if I can spot anything! I didn't know with previous DC until I was about 6 weeks, so can't imagine I'd spot anything in under less than six days Hmm but still seem to be trying to lol

OnNaturesCourse · 21/02/2017 16:15

passme i wouldnt worry just yet. Monitor it xxx Im thinking AF in full is just taking her time as i have cramps (and gas 😳)

SO... AF showed up at work! Brilliant! I've just come home and scoffed down a chocolate twist pastry.. I had no signs of a period and then BAM! ALL THE RED SEA TIDES OF THE WORLD UNITED IN MY KNICKERS. Thank goodness for my agile squirm to the loo and carrying sanitary supplies. It's a particularly heavy flow from the absolute start.. I guess it's only my 2nd one since the MMC :(. Oh well I'm glad I've got you ladies for next month :)

Teaandbics I have everything crossed for you! Unfortunately you'll be testing on your own but I'll be rooting for you :) Will you hold out till wednesday or test tomorrow morning? Shock Grin Plus the answer to your question I would have been testing with a FRER.

Passme thanks for letting me know, I've learnt something today. Like Nature says I would try not to worry just yet either and to keep records of your dates (which I'm sure you do!), as we know all sorts can affect our cycles, stress especially. Lots of relaxation please :)

To all the ladies still waiting good luck good luck! Star xx

appleseedpip · 21/02/2017 19:08

ps. That last sentence there sounds like I had actually signed off.. No I'm still going to be here hoping for everyone else!! Grin

teaandbics · 21/02/2017 19:11

Oh apple I'm so sorry Sad. You have been so brilliant at keeping me on track during the crazy and making me laugh. I doubt I will make it to the morning now to be honest or the next half hour. You have literally been the only thing stopping me from cracking. (I got a frer earlier!). Am looking forward to having you and all the lovely ladies here for company next month. Here's hoping though...

choc we sound very similar in the symptom spotting stakes!

appleseedpip · 21/02/2017 19:35

Oh teaandbics! You've been an absolute perfect 'running' buddy and all the other lovely ladies here too :) Thank you for keeping me sane and insane the last two weeks Grin I hope I don't have to do it with you again next month teaandbics as I'm still hoping we will be sending you off to embryo incubation graduation school xx Good choice on the FRER Wink.

teaandbics · 21/02/2017 19:59

apple I may have to go to the graduation...

My little one is asleep, DH is at the footie and my lovely 'running buddy' gave me permission to test (kind of...) so I tested on the FRER. It was positive! Didn't believe it so tested with the clearblue digital (can you see what I mean by no restraint? I wasn't joking about not making it to the morning apple!). That said positive too. I'm shaking. Very excited and very scared. And I'm on my own!

I can't quite believe it and I have no intention of leaving this thread if it's ok with you guys - I'd love to stick around. The pregnancy boards scare me a bit too pingu. I can't imagine many people there will want to hear about someone who lost their baby so late on if real life is anything to go by. But I've felt so welcome here (thank you so much for starting it nature and to all you lovely ladies). Anyway, I need to stick around to see you all get your bfps

Xxx

teaandbics · 21/02/2017 20:10

Ahh thank you pingu!

(ps, no spring chicken here either...Smile)

appleseedpip · 21/02/2017 20:14

OH TEAANDBICS!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEE!!! I'm so happy for you darling :) That's wonderful news! Oh please let us know how your DH reacts!! And on your first cycle back of trying too :) It's time to dance now!! Yeahhh!!! Grin

Stick around as long as you want teaandbics!! I'm honestly grinning like a massive idiot! hahaha! xx

appleseedpip · 21/02/2017 20:15
