Just that really! I was thinking you did use FMU but I've just read that you shouldn't on another thread. Thanks.

I think the standard OPKs you're meant to test later in the day - maybe from midday onwards - but the clearblue digital OPKs suggest FMU. Personally I've never had a peak on clearblue in the morning though and always test mid afternoon!

No don't use fmu for opks. From about 10am -8pm is I think what they recommend. I tended to get best results about 4-6pm.

Ilovecaindingle · 09/02/2017 19:33

Unless it specifically says to (think cb does) then no. .
I always tested at 2 pm and 10 pm and always caught my positive!! Good luck!!

Thanks! I have Boots own brand OPKs so assume they are 'mid range' - the Tesco of OPKs if you will! Grin Does it matter how much you have been drinking (as in water, not wine!)

I think they recommend not to drink too much for about 2 hours before. The more concentrated, the clearer the results.

I just used the cheap eBay ones and they worked fine (am now 8 weeks Smile) so I don't think you need expensive ones!

Thanks Squidgling! I'll order some cheapies when I run out then. Smile
