Ohh parsnips i hope youve managed to have a good talk and are looking after yourself ❤

So excited confused and Tigger have digital positives tests too! I heard you are suppose to add 2weeks on to the result?

I'm in Wiltshire in the South West 👍🏼

HeyJupiter · 18/02/2017 11:01

Oh yay Tigger and confused, must be very satisfying to see it written so clearly on a digital test :)

I'm in Norfolk - but lived in SE London for 5 years and loved it! We'll have to have a London meet up one day when we all have our babies!

Sending love to Dubai today though.

AF in full flow but cycle day 1 and feeling positive!

HeyJupiter · 18/02/2017 11:01

MrsC it's getting there! Ignore Ovia x

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 18/02/2017 11:02

Ha I wish you all were in Dubai and we could all meet up.

We've had a talk. At first he was all "it's not flirtatious but I can fully see how you might interpret it that way etc and I apologize" then he tried to say that he thinks a lot of my reaction stems from me feeling unhappy in work etc.

So I just told him point blank that I wasn't accepting that at all and that he knows fine well that it's flirtatious as he wouldn't send those sorts of jokey messages to a male colleague or a more senior colleague etc and he admitted that he wouldn't. And I told him that the whole entire exchange has made me really uncomfortable and insecure as I feel like he is undermining me when he does this and I don't want to keep feeling this way. And he apologized and just kept saying that he is sorry that I've been upset by it and that he will think about the consequences of his actions or how they look in future. I dunno - they all say that don't they. We'll see.

I won't let him minimize things or try and make out that I'm annoyed about work and therefore overreacting. Think he is surprised that I haven't just let him wriggle off the hook.

I'm really annoyed that the girl he was messaging will now clearly think that my husband is interested in her as it just makes me look stupid! Honestly men and their stupid egos!

MrsC2017 · 18/02/2017 11:06

parsnips good for you, you're right to be strong and not back down. I think you should lay down the law that it's unacceptable and it won't happen again and if it does you won't be there to listen to any excuses. Men 😡 👊

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 18/02/2017 11:09

Honestly I could just choke him. It's all the casualness with boundaries that really annoys me. I am quite straight down the line with stuff like that and would never dream of sending any kind of message to a coworker. I had to arrange a business coffee the other day and I feel uncomfortable about that as it will be just me and the bloke.

MrsC2017 · 18/02/2017 11:13

parsnips I totally agree and would be very similar in how I see things! It's not something to be casual about and trying to manipulate the situation to put it back on you as if you are the one at fault is unacceptable and its just him squirming because he knows well he is in the wrong!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 18/02/2017 13:04

Good for you for standing up for yourself parsnips I hope he gets the message and doesn't think he can get away with it in future (i.e. He needs to feel the seriousness of the boundary crossing himself, not deny it was flirty). I would be absolutely raging if my DH did this.

orangefolly · 18/02/2017 13:09

parsnips I kinda want to choke him for you too. But I'm glad you've had the chance to talk. Well done for not letting him brush it aside! It totally sounds like it's an ego thing for him rather than actually wanting the other person.

confused and tigger so exciting! Interesting to hear cramps are a thing - you can keep us all sane when we worry after the BFPs!

Another Londoner here - great so many of us are close geographically. I'm North London though Grin

HbH04 · 18/02/2017 14:19

Glad he's groveling parsnips .... & well done for your non doormat response! He'll have to probably earn his way out of the doghouse😡

Congrats on your digitals girls! A lovely confirmation!!

Im in Milton Keynes, 30 mins from London on the train :)

Ohhh we can all be cycle buddies (confused is also joining us in support!) excellent. I'm only CD1 - should ovulate around CD12/13. Fingers crossed or all of us x

HeyJupiter · 18/02/2017 17:40

*for all of us

Seven0fNine · 18/02/2017 18:11

Yay Jupiter and orange! I'm on CD10 but still having semi long post pill cycles. My last was 36 days but they have been coming down a few days each time so I hope this one will be something like 34 days. Which is within "normal" range so fingers crossed...Gonna be opking again anyway.

I have a bit of a worry tho that I've been having spotting/light bleeding after af has stopped like two days later. It happened last cycle where I had two days of almost very light af and now it's happening again. I think my hormones are just a bit messed up still but do you guys think I should go to the doctor?Hmm

HeyJupiter · 18/02/2017 18:22

I personally wouldn't worry seven. I actually have that with my AF now. For example I have three days of moderate-heavy bleeding.. then it stops for 24-48 hours and then I have a light (often brown) bleed for another day. This is a pattern that I had before I went on the pill and has returned since I came off two years ago (my mum even said that she always had this and she is very fertile). I don't have it every month but it is quite common. Someone else might have other advice but it's not something I've ever worried about. I also sometimes have a day of brown spotting the day before AF starts :)

HeyJupiter · 18/02/2017 18:25

My friend just sent me this :)

Getting Ready for Baby Challenge-Pt3
TheGrumpySquirrel · 18/02/2017 19:31

I'm really tired and I have thrush which is driving me crazy! Glad we can have a break from DTD.

I am cosied up in bed now after a lovely afternoon seeing friends and getting to snuggle their newborn baby - very cute. Also saw my other friend this morning at yoga who is 12wks pregnant, she looks amazing.

4dpo.. it's really dragging. And today I read that 60% of fertilised eggs don't implant! How depressing! All you BFP ladies are very lucky!

How is everyone's weekend so far?

Seven0fNine · 18/02/2017 20:07

Thanks Jupiter, you have reassured me! I guess it's just cos it's CD10 and there's still bleeding Sad!

New borns are simply the best. I saw a tiny one in the Asda before being very good and sleeping his way round and I was soooooo jealous!

Mummyme87 · 18/02/2017 20:32

Work has been a welcome relief from the constant symptom spotting if not a tad busy in the last hour so have left work half an hour late.

Lots of lower back ache today and some twinges in lower abdomen
