Ooo grumpy love it!!

MrsC2017 · 17/02/2017 10:50

Just did OPK.... I think it's getting darker so will try this evening and tomorrow!

Mummyme87 · 17/02/2017 10:53

I've just got all ready eyed with all the emotions reading about BFPs.
Can't wait to hear how your DH reacts confused

I'm having my weekly treat of almond croissant and a cuppa in town whilst DS is at the childminder.
My left boob in particular is feeling really achy and bruised deep inside.. the feeling I got when I breastfed. Also keep getting the occasional shooting pain twinge in right boob.

Just spent £57 in gap on 2 presents for my friends boys and stuff for DS... I feel better as I got £33 discount. They have half term deals on 30-40% off

Mummyme87 · 17/02/2017 10:54

Very nice grumpy so excited to get our car. OH has decided we need to crack on straight after MOT in march 😀 We have a couple more potential Cars now... Honda CRV, VW Tiguan (new version)

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/02/2017 10:55

That sounds lovely mummy

Keep us updated* on the OPKs mrsC* !

I had a dream last night I was breastfeeding a newborn baby 👶🏼 so cute and snuggly!!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/02/2017 10:56

Bold fail sorry!

Mummy I thought about the Tiguan (I love the advert!!! Lol.. my DD does not 😂) but DH doesn't like it.. he is a 4x4 snob

Mummyme87 · 17/02/2017 11:17

Yeah I wasnt sure about the Tiguan, didn't like the old version very much, but OH has been trying to make me see the light... its about £40-50 cheaper per month than what I like... obviously. It was too small for me but apparently this one is bigger and more boots space, so I'll have a look!

mrsc darker OPK is exciting! Hopefully you will get your positive over the weekend

Redpony1 · 17/02/2017 12:00

I'm jealous of all the car shopping! I want a new car but i won't do practical so no point changing mine Blush
I do need to research travel systems though, as i still need to fit a pram in my boot with 2x horse saddles, need a compact frame one. Not sure why everything is so big!
To be fair though, i don't go anywhere that i am required to walk, so will leave an cheap second hand one at the stables for use when there. Running will all be done from home so will keep a running buggy there. Just need one for the odd times i might go shopping alone or something. Can't think of any times we'd bother getting out a pram just to walk from car to shop - DP can use a carrier! (I won't be able to use a sling or anything because of my back pain) So much to consider isn't there?

Redpony1 · 17/02/2017 12:01

Just to add, if someone hadn't written off my MX-5 last year i'd still have that.... it had isofix hahaha!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/02/2017 12:04

Wow red how do you fit all the horsey stuff in your sports car?

DH vetoed my VW... 😭 he thinks it's not a good enough car for the money. Now I'm looking at Audi A5 cabriolet sportback which is not that much more expensive..

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/02/2017 12:04

Also what is isofix and how do you tell if a car has it?

Mummyme87 · 17/02/2017 12:14

ISOfix is the bits in the back seats of the car your car seat can clip into if you have the base so you don't have to keep putting a seatbelt around it

Redpony1 · 17/02/2017 12:27

All new cars will have ISOfix anyway! my MX-5 was 2006 and had it.

I don't have a sports car anymore but the MX-5 has a fairly large boot, bigger than a Mini. I easily fitted 2 saddles in there with my boots etc. I don't carry anything else around, i always take my horsebox when i stock up on big things like feed Smile

My friend loves her A5 Cabriolet! I do find VW's overpriced and under-spec'd. What engine you looking at?
