I couldn't see a March bus yet so I thought I'd get it going for all us early birds

It's technically cycle 3 but we took last month off after cycle 1 resulted in chemical pregnancy :( so I'm eager to get on with it

Anyone else joining me nice and ridiculously early on the March bus?

Getting a little worried now that I'm onto cycle number 4. There's a little voice of negativity in my head saying why hasn't it happened yet . Will be using preseed again this month.

Hi ttcnovice we got pregnant on 4th cycle last time. 4 months isn't that long but it seems like forever, especially when others are getting pregnant first time! My friends have 2 lovely children and it took them 12 months ttc first time and 8 months 2nd time. I know lots of healthy couples who conceived after ttc 8-12 months. It seems so random! Especially when some people seem to get pregnant first time around. I'm trying not to get too obsessed as last time I ttc it was a huge obsession! I'm going to dtd every other day from cycle days 9-18ish. Fingers crossed! Also, just googled preseed- never heard of it before.

Hi Thingy thanks! It's definitely been made worse by lots of people around me falling pregnant without trying! I'm really happy for them of course, but it does make you compare yourself to others negatively. You're right though it does seem random so it's good to hear of longer success stories . We used preseed last cycle but only used the applicator once (I found it quite fiddly and - TMI here - it was a lot bigger than I was expecting it to be! ) and just used it as normal lube the rest of the time. Going to suck it up and use it exactly as directed this time around though! Good luck to you x

MistyB are you using opks again this month?
I got a high reading this morning (cd9) even though one app said fw will start Monday and another said next Friday.

I don't want another Christmas baby either. DS was born beginning of December. It's a tough time of year especially with Thanksgiving at the end of November.

stuckinny yeah I'm doing one more month tracking and opk and everything I tested cd8 and today CD10 and negative both times, hope I haven't missed it! Fw starts tomoz so by my working out if I was to catch in the next 10 days it would still be November to give birth just about!
Then if nothing this month, I'm not doing anything next month except dtd when I feel like it lol x

Can I jump on too? I'm feeling a bit down at the moment so is it ok if a read a book and then stare out the window for a bit as I'm not feeling very social?

MistyB I'm right with you. Giving it a good try this month. If it doesn't work then it's time to just take it as it comes.

I'm hoping for a drunken moment this month. I've spent the evening at DP's parents which basically means we've sat around the table drinking.

Oops just noticed I'd managed to age myself by two years! Don't know whether to make a GP app or wait and see if I have another short cycle. I know I haven't been trying for very long compared with many people. My cycles were clockwork 29 days since I started my periods when I came off the pill in May my first few cycles were 28 days but seems to have been getting shorter in the past six months

If you're happy to wait and see then I'd do that but then make an appointment if unsuccessful this month. If you're over 35 you can see a Dr for further investigations if you've been trying for 6 months or more.

Hi everyone, not much to report here. Cd7. Using the CB machine and it's told me that my oestrogen surge has started so that's interesting - way earlier than I would have thought.... no physical symptoms at all. So we are going to start dtd every other day now ..... wish me luck!! X

Hey girlies. Fw started today so dtd this morning but had to pee not long after and felt horrible seeing lots of it falling down the toilet 😩
I'm cd11 today, had 2 negative opk last couple of days so gonna test again later. I'm literally not noticing any ewcm. Didn't see any last couple of cycles and I know it's vital to keep the swimmers alive til my egg meets them!
Anyone tried pre-seed on here? Where would I get it and is it awkward to use? I've chosen not to tell hubs we are actively ttc... he knows I'm off the pill and is like if it happens it happens but he works long hours and struggles to perform if he's stressed or worried so I don't want to pressure him, meaning he doesn't know when we are dtd "actively" so I don't wanna get into it and then be like "hang on babe while I squirt this stuff up me to help your sperm!" I'm pretty sure that would be a passion killer 😂

Took last month really badly but getting back onto it and feeling hopeful for this month. I've pretty much given up caffeine (and staying awake in work) and am using OPKs and temping - plus a session of reflexology. In my rational moments I know that it will happen and its just taking us some more time but in my desperate moments I feel like we are totally doomed and it'll never happen - and all the other negative stuff that comes into your head once you've gone down that track! GL ladies!

The ewcm had landed! Noticed loads of it while wiping earlier and just waiting to pee now to do an opk! I'm only on cd12 though so is that too early to be almost ovulating?x

Just starting ttc #3. No idea when af is due as my cycles tend to be all over the place at the best of times but I have only just had my first one after dc2.

MistyB, I got a high opk result on Saturday which was cd 9. I thought it was a little early but I'm putting my faith in CB this month.

misty i think ewcm can sometimes be a couple of days before ovulation so i think you are probs spot on - jump on dh right away!!

Peed on opk earlier and not even a squinter! Which is weird coz I've always thought LH was always in your system so should always be 2 lines but only when they match in vividness is a positive! So I'm confused.
Either way... hubs is having it tonight 😂

I get ewcm really early and usually a pos opk day 12 or 13, I'm having a month off them this month though and just aiming for bd every other day, totally sick of obsessing and peeing on things! Need to relax and it's not doing me any favours mentally or physically x
