Late period, negative test. Recently had copper IUD removed.

Hello,

I had my copper coil removed on 19th and my doctor said that based on my cycle I was probably ovulating at around the time she was removing it. The last time I had sex was 2 days before it was removed and then after my fertile window ended.

My period is late but I keep getting negative tests. I'm just wondering has anyone else had a delayed period after having their IUD removed? I'm only 3 days late for my period but I'm very regular normally.

I know this is old but can you let me know what happened? Were you pregnant? I’m going through exactly th same thing at the moment! Thanks x

@CandyAus I know this isn’t what you asked, but I had mine removed and conceived 3 days later. He’s now 14!!

Thanks, I’m hoping it will be easy for me too but I don’t think I’m pregnant as I’ve done numerous tests and all are negative so now I’m worried that my body is messed up from the coil and it will take me ages to conceive :( I’m 7 days late now.

My cycle went a bit mad after my copper coil was removed... took over two years and ivf to get pregnant (unexplained infertility). Had two chemical pregnancies along to way.
