Testing.. unsure

me and my partner have been trying for our second for a few months now. had a very early miscarriage the second time around, let my body settle so left it a month and then started again after i had a period. i ovulated this month on the 20th, we... on 16th and 19th so in my most fertile week and a day before ovulation. i had this creamy white/tinted yellow discharge on tuesday morning, was about 2 inches long and stringy. took me by surprise as i'd never had that before. nothing sins. ive had twinges the last 2 days and mild headaches. ive got a mild headache now as i speak and abit of backache. i have felt abit sick here and there but i know its probs too early for sickness yet and tiredness aswell but i have been feeling super tired the last 3 days it the point where i want to sleep mid-afternoon (which is never like me i dont do naps). im now 8 DPO and due on in 4 days.

unsure what to do or think or feel. dont wanna test and be disappointed but its so hard to resist when i know i have 2 first responses in the draw that can test up to 6 days early. but then i also dont wanna tempt fate or waste them.

has anyone ever been in this position before? could do with some friendly advise and a chat :)

8 DPO is really too early to test ..... I got BFN at 11 DPO, and BFP at 14 DPO

Leave it a few days and test when af is late / due

you were right. i did the silly thing in testing and said negative.
so got a bit annoyed with myself and made me disappointed.
the reason i think i am this month more than any other month is that im getting all the signs. on and off feeling sick, watery feeling in my mouth every now and again, mild cramping, backache, mild headaches that i just cant seem to shift. i had this white stringy discharge on Tuesday and then my symptoms started from then onwards. feel like the 2nd's ages away and then i dont want to rush in to testing thursday incase she comes over the course of a few days cos you can just be late sometimes. thankyou

I got cramps and sore boobs a week before af was due, but didn't get BFP until that day!

The 2nd isn't that far away

Hi just reading your post it sounds very similar to my situation. Spesh about the yellow tinged ewcm which I was also surprised at? God knows what that is! I'm not due AF until mon but got terrible cramps today! Good luck! X

thats ok. i know i was so surprised at that only went for a wee. mine was creamy white though and only yellow tinted in bright light. i read up on it cos it started to worry me... i read it can be early signs of pregnancy. but i dunno as never had it before. oh god monday next week or today? im so tempted to test again but i dont wanna be disappointed again either :/ x

Yeah I read the same but need to stop symptom spotting 🙈 Monday next week! Just try hold out as long as you can x

i know its horrible isnt it. but tbh its only when the 'symptoms' happen that i think 'bloody hell'. i did a shitty cheap one at 10 DPO and got a negative. think i urinated too much on the stick as window was wet :/ today i had aches and pains but was every now and again and theyve been sharp today xx

I've been having the same pains still it's weird! Was laid in bed this morning debating wether to test! Managed to talk myself out of it though because it's far too early! Need to wait until atleast Sunday x

yesterday i had horrendous cramping pains on and off and sickness was vile aswell so im hoping its gettin stronger because suppose to be due AF on thursday. i was tempted to test today aa only 2 days early but i think best results are a fay after period is due. im only 11 DPO xx

I'm in the same boat! I ov on 21/22 Jan, AF due 2 Feb based on my usual 27 day cycles.

I had a moment of insanity last night and POAS. Obviously it was BFN. I spent too long googling about 8dpo positive results.

I had really bad cramping for about half an hour yesterday so now I'm hoping it was implantation. No CM though. What do you think?

oh gosh honey! i did the exact same as you, tested after googling 8 DPO symptoms and test results. i got BFN aswell, and then i had another moment of weakness and tested monday but which a cheap test and again BFN. I dont always trust them though, i always use First Response.

Its hard to tell, i mean i had that stringy creamy white stuff Tuesday 24th (4 DPO), then cramps started on and off and got stronger each time. started feeling on and off sick, and having mild headaches. But im now not well Monday i started to get a blocked nose so im now thinking ive got a throat and ear infection.

No i haven't tested again yet, suppose to be due tomorrow so we'll see :)

Any news? We have very similar symptoms.

I'm usually due on CD27 but last month I had the disappointment of BFN and AF arrived CD28.

Today is CD27. Yesterday I had some very very light pink when wiping, but nothing at all since, apart from twinges and headache.

I daren't get my hopes up because I know it could all just be signs of AF.

Are you going to test today? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

so my symptoms have all stopped. ive actually got the really bad flu now aswell had it sins monday. i was due today, nothing all day so tested about an hour ago and said negative. so i dunno what to believe now tbh :(
