Positive OPK 3 days before AF. Neg HPT... helppppp

Hey Ladies!
Have any of you been through this before? .. so ..
I had my period January 1st which lasted 4 days, I ovulated on the 14th. So it's creeping up to AF in 3 days time.. I have felt ROUGH the last 2 weeks, I come down with a horrible cold, my gums have even been hurting me! .. felt sick, so emotional .. boobs have been fine though .. CM last night (4 days before AF) was very 'snotty' and clear and just SO much of it.. like literally don't know where it's coming from!??!?!?!?! .. so that prompted me to test .. BFN .. so had a tantrum (as you do lol) .. feeling incredibly frustrated and starting to question my fertility .. after hours of reading, I come across a few threads about OPK detecting pregnancy etc .. so I peed on one .. two.. three.. ALL very strong positives.. same again this morning.. strong positive.. but another BFN on HPT 🤔🤔 .. the OPK tests have given me a glimmer of hope girls.. what's the verdict? Has this happened to any of you .. did anyone have a BFP after positive opk? Xxxx

Thanks lovely, .. took about HPT this morning and it was a BFN .. but had another positive on OPK 🤔 .. so confused right now .. I'm cramping this morning again doesn't really feel like period cramps though. More snotty CM too. Just don't know what to think really

Hi Laura i have seen on here that you can fail to ov first time and your body can gear up to ov again... i would suggest getting some BD in just incase and if AF shows it could have just been a random rise and if not start you LP again from last date of Positive OPK

Yes definitely going to try and squeeze in some BD tonight lol! My 2 year old is staying with her grandad tonight so just me and the hubby! .. only time will tell, if no AF appears by Monday, I'll re test on Tuesday FMU see what happens! Xx

I've read that you can get a positive OPK just before AF as well. (I'm in the same boat at the moment.)
