Ovulation pains

I occasionally get a one sided pinching pain around ovulation. This month, I've had aching type pain for 24 hours across lower abdomen and then a pinching pain on left side. Worse than normal. CD 14 today. Positive OPK. Very bloated and uncomfortable. Anyone else experiencing ovulation pains? Had PID last year after a hysterosalpingogram so worried about infection. However, no funny discharge or smell - just pain! Have EWCM.

Yes! I've been ttc 10 cycles now but I'd say only the last 3 I've had pains around ovulation. It's very much like af pain, really low down but then goes to one side or the other. I just use it as one of my ovulation signs now. Xx
