As of 3rd Jan '17 my mirena was removed and we began TTC. I started my period 5th-12th standard flow, nothing unusual.

I have just had another period from 18th-23rd. It started off as brown discharge for 1 day, 2 days of redish watery flow then a couple days of tiny amounts of spotting.
I feel exhausted all the time, on/off nausea for past 3 days, small cramps in lower abdomen, on/off heartburn and a hightened sense of smell.

Is it even possible to be pregs or is it just wishful thinking?

Unlikely, but take a test!

Wouldnt it be too early for a test? With my first born i was 2 week late for my period before i eventually got a positive test

Lizi i might be wrong (please someone correct me if i am!) but the first period you describe is a withdrawal bleed from the hormones in the coil... therefore you have not had a really AF to actually count a cycle from.

When you stop the pill you can ovulate straight away after your withdrawal bleed you wont always have to wait for an ov... meaning you could have ov'd really any point from 3rd Jan.

So as unlikely as it may seem you could still be upduffed. I would get a pink early detection test like FRER of you do decide to test as far more reliable

Thankyou i was unsure as the day i had the coil removed was my period week so i wasnt sure if it was a normal bleed or withdrawl bleed.

its these other symptoms that have me stumped. Normally period symptoms just consist of bloating and massive munchies. This time i have none of those. but all the ones in above post ive never experienced on periods. Ive never heard of the FRER test but i will look it up
