Hi guys, advice appreciated! cycle average 26 days, now on day 33 (dpo 12) and no AD. But only BFNs.... but ovulated day 21 so late in cycle, maybe that's why AF is so late?

Do I have hope for BFP, or is it unlikely? I want to be realistic. Xx

What kind of test have you used?

Hcmp1980 · 21/01/2017 21:17

The thin strip ones, only those ones so far.

Your luteal phase generally stays the same every cycle. How many days do you usually have between OV and AF? That's how many days you'll have after CD21's OV.

Implantation will occur between 6-12 DPO, with a positive HPT 3 - 5 days after implantation (usually). So no, you're not out yet!

Thanks for reply - My luteral cycle has been repeatedly 10-11 days each month over last 6months.

I think that means if I'm not pregnant then my AF is actually due tomorrow (day 34, but luteal day 11), I'm just getting my head round it!

The internet strips aren't remotely sensitive so I don't think you'd get a positive on those for a good few days yet! Good luck Smile

The Internet strips are actually 10 miu, so the same as a FRER, give or take. They just don't seem to work as well for some reason, however.
