My husband and I are planning our first and are going to start trying this year.
I have the Mirena and have been for the past 7 years, so I've no idea what my cycle is like etc - it'll be a surprise to start having periods again...!
My question is, how long did others wait before TTC after having the MIUD out, and how long did it take you to get pregnant? I'm wondering whether I should remove it sooner rather than later and rely on barrier methods for a while, or just jump straight in...
