Ovulation confusion...thoughts?

Just looking for opinions. Last period started on new years eve. I thought I would ovulate from around the 14th. Average 28 day cycle. Done two ovulation calendars online and they say I was fertile from 9th - 13th. Does this sound correct? I'm going to buy the sticks to track ovulation but I'm confused. What would you think? Dtd on Sunday, my DP isn't always here when I need him to be :-) and today I have discharge. This would be too soon if we had conceived would it not? So therefore must be ovulation? Thoughts much appreciated.

i have read on here that the calendars only guesstimate fertile weeks based upon your cycle length so you would expect that to be about right with a 28 day cycle. However I too am generally 28 days and using opks I apparently have ovulated around days 15 / 16! So I'd try using opks and perhaps temping to be sure? Xx

Thanks for replying. Yea, I think I will need to try that as I'm guessing ovulation every month and nothing is happening. Will buy opks see if that helps, now for the 2ww, hate it! :-)

All CM is not fertile cm. Clear and/or stretchy cm is fertile. Cloudy or white cm is not fertile. I get it before and after ov. You are 'fertile' before ov, not after as the egg can only be fertilised within 24 hours of being released from your ovary. They only way to tell you have ovulated is by tracking your bbt.

Are those blue ones LH tests? I haven't seen them before...

That last one is positive if so... So that means you will ov anywhere between 12-72 later. Maybe/ probably.

The only way to tell you actually ovulated is to take your bbt.

The blue one is lh test as well just different brand. I just took my evening test and it's not strong line.
