January bus continued...? Anybody still clinging on...!?!

Hi everyone,

Hope you don't mind me staring a new thread as the last is full to the brim now!

Just to recap myself:

Age 31
Ttc no.3
6dpo
1st cycle! (Agh!)

Anyone else?

Anyway I'm still clinging onto the bus but feeling extremely negative about this cycle as I've had what has almost! been the flu Sad
Couldn't get my sorry head off the pillow yesterday and feel like I've been 8 rounds with Tyson aiming right for the lungs!

Going to test on Thursday 19th as had my last two Bfps at 10 DP0

And just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the old thread that kindly gave me advise and a much needed pick me up with regards to being so --pathetically - Ill lol I took all advise on board and today I feel like it's finally letting up a little (woo!)

Hope are well and good news is coming for us all!! X

Well AF arrived exactly to the minute she was expected. Damn it. Feeling a mixture of reassured my luteal phase is so regular and sad and frustrated that I will now be on the 8th month of trying.

Having got pregnant by accident at 18 I just assumed as soon as I came off the pill it would happen instantly! Now 30 days off it, BFNs every day, no AF, impatient!

Mine too Motherhippy I don't usually get bad cramps but they're at their worst today. I'll never doubt the power of the mind again, I can't believe I managed to imagine so many symptoms and also the cramping started 2 days before AF which is unheard of for me and can only be down to my mind playing tricks.
Going to try and be as productive as possible over the next couple of weeks and take my mind off the TTC thing Hmm

rose cramping started about 1dpo, not quite like AF that early - more aware of a niggle which has continued all through to today which is 10dpo.
Definitely best described as a niggle with occasional full blown period pain feelings.

And sorry to hear about those with af Sad it's so confusing as all the signs and symptoms for pg and af are so similar/the same!!

And congrats for those with the recent Bfps!! I had my first bfp on Sunday and I'm fairly certain I was due on either Monday or Tuesday. Which means I'm am afficially 'late' today so that's exciting! Going to test again on Friday morn now and fx get a stronger positive.

Just want to wish all those ladies still waiting or hopping onto Feb bus lots of luck and baby vibes! Hope to see you on antenatal threads soon! Will keep looking out for your names xx

Thank you for the well wishes! I will keep an eye out for you and sure you will be on antenatal in a few weeks time Smile Hope you get lots of opportunity to Dtd at the right time! I have now moved on from worry of tww to now worry of 8 ww to first scan! (If all goes well, fx!) You know it's never ending this worrying and waiting game we play!!

I have started temping MH, but yourself a BBT which is accurate to 2 decimal places. Download the fertility friend app if you don't already have it and away you go! They have an excellent guide to temping which is really informative but the basics of it are that your resting body temp will rise after ovulation has occurred, so whilst doing OPK's can tell you that it is approaching only a temp rise can confirm that it definitely occurred and when. You have to take your temp each morning after at least 4 hours sleep and before you move. I keep my thermometer next to my bed and have an alarm set to remind me to take it Smile

Thanks flowers - I'm seesawing between mild cramps and nothing. Usually it's pretty predictable but i had this once before and it just led to a late af. I'll know by Saturday, one way or the other. Don't want to test in the middle of a busy work week!

9dpo and BFN on an internet cheapie this morning. I know it is still early days but it is so disheartening.

Also, as I've read hundreds of times, due to us both being poorly we literally dtd twice around ov - once day before and once day after.
I got so disheartened reading about couples who dtd 3 x a day and still didn't get a bfp!!!!
It only takes once I guess!

Hi everyone

Some bad news I'm afraid, Started bleeding this morn and not stopped Sad my symptoms disappeared just before and then what looks like af has arrived. Looks like a chemical pregnancy Sad

Will be joining you all on the Feb bus after all. motherhippy I didn't temp but I will next cycle and hope for the best again. One thing I am definitely going to do is wait until missed period by a week and test then. I've been lucky in the past by conceiving quickly and getting Bfps early but everything being ok. This time is different it seems! Will give it a few weeks and join the Feb bus once my body has settled down and also do opks etc but no pregnancy tests at all until I'm late so will opt out of tww next time.

Hope all well ladies, we will get our babies in the end xxx

Hi,
Im a bit late to join, was lurking.
age: 27
ttc #1, cycle 1
Not been on any hormonal contraception for years.
I am 11 dpo on a cycle that averages at 26 days +/- 1 so af due friday ish.
Have no tests in the house and plan to keep it that way until im officially a few days late if at all possible.
Symptom spotting like mad but then thinking that i never used to pay attention much beforehand so it may all be normal.
