Conception after Vasectomy?

I've been seeing my partner for around 6 months, and he had a vasectomy about 2 and a half years ago.

Obviously we have unprotected sex.... And my period is 2 - 4 days late.
I know the easy answer is to get a test and see but, can it happen?

DP recently had a vasectomy and we were told that 1 in 2000 men will have the ability to father a child after and the risk is higher sooner after the procedure and decreases over the years. The risk is basically because even after a clear sperm test the tubes can occasionally rejoin
