BFP with Expired Test

Evening Ladies!

After feeling proper rotten for a few days and AF being 2 days late, I have just taken a Clearblue digital test and got a BFP. The only issues it expired in September - do you think it could give a false positive? I cannot get out to get another one till tomorrow. Given how rubbish I feel I think it might be right.......

Would love to hear what you wise women have to say......

I think it's probably a valid result, it's not as if a test would immediately throw up an incorrect result on 1st October, and I imagine if they did it would be to show a false negative, rather than a positive. Congratulations.

Thank you! I was thinking the same. I had two expired ones and they have both given a positive result so given how rotten I feel think it must be a positive 😄. Been a long old journey so will take one day at a time. X

My expired BFP was right, 7 weeks now.

I'm sure it is positive. If the tests aren't working for whatever reason a little book symbol comes up.
