Which Ovulation Kit?

Apologies if this has been asked many times before, but I'm wondering which type / brand of ovulation kit is best to use? Does anyone have any recommendations? Are they all basically the same? Thanks!

I think opinion differs. There are 2 basic different kinds: digital and non-digital. I choose the Clear Blue digital as it detects the estrogen rise a few days before you ovulate (sperm can live up to 5 daysish), and then the luteinising hormone rise which indicates ovulation is highly likely and imminent. From what I could tell it's the only one that detects both hormones. I would have found the non-digis hard to read I think (and from what I can tell they only detect LH surge) but other people prefer them and don't trust Clear Blue. Clear Blue digi is also way more expensive. Think there are other own brand ones you could give a go too. Hope this helps!

I used the cheapy one step ones I got off amazon. They worked fine.

I'm using the Clearblue ones, got them on 3 for 2 in Boots. I like that they're straightforward and designed to be used with first urine of the day.
Also the smiley face is quite encouraging!

I finally got pregnant on cycle 16 after using the clearblue digital for the first time :) I signed up for the clearblue trial and got them for free in return for sending samples of my pee!

I have irregular cycles anything from 24-35 days but usually in the middle of that. I honestly believe i wouldn't be pregnant if it wasn't for starting the trial. i had looked at them before but had been put off with the price and had been using internet cheapies inbetween but those can be quite hard to read e.g. is it positive ? has my surge happened ? is it too late? so basically i think i had been missing the mark all this time .
