Hope you can help a puzzled Percy.
This might be an impossible question but
do you stand a better chance of a live birth from IVF or from naturally trying, say over 6 months? Particularly interested in stats for those 40 or over.
I went on one online calculator which said I had a 27% chance of live birth per IVF cycle.

I went to a natural pregnancy calculator which said I had a 4% chance every month if concieving!

The mumsnet website also says "At the age of 40 only about 40% of women trying to conceive naturally will do so, and this figure drops to 2% by the age of 43."
I am trying to conceive but am 39. I know IVF success rates dwindle so wondering whether Mother Nature trumps science for the older lady with time running out or whether you let science do its things.
