Happy New Year! It's 2017 and it's OUR year

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

If I'm reading your chart right, you're only 10 DPO aren't you Alexia? So still relatively early in the grand scheme of things. I'd say you definitely still have a reason to be hopeful with those temps! Can you get a FRER today?

Yes that's right Kathrino but I have a luteal phase defect so af was due yesterday/today. I'll be lucky to make it to tomorrow, last cycle it was already over for me at this point. Will get FRERs for tomorrow am.

I should add I had a +ve at 7dpo with my chemical a few cycles back. I expected to see at least something today. 10dpo is late for me tbh.

How frustrating getting BFNs with a chart looking like that alexia! Still have my fx for you. And for you too pug!

I can't watch one born every minute sk1pper - mainly because I have I deep fear of childbirth (one of the many reasons I've put off ttc until the last minute) but that's a whole other topic. Sorry it upset you - I hope you feel better now

My AF was due yesterday and no sign. Can't be pregnant as was away from OH during fw (and also wasn't trying). So frustrating! I'm now cd 33 - I need it to come!!!

Alexia - I'm still really hopeful for you, any really unusual symptoms?

Well temperature went up again this morning. No sign of AF yet. I have a couple of ic I can use but I think I might pop into boots and get a frer too. If anything will get AF to start it will be wasting a test!

Pug Harriet alexia we are all still in limbo then! I'm still away and only going to test at the weekend if still no show. Have had hot baths and DTD the last couple of days (usually helps along AF when due) but nothing yet. Am highly bloated but think that's just the copious Italian food I'm eating!😂

Alexia, even with a shorter luteal phase, presumably if implantation only occurred a couple of days ago, your levels might be too low for an IC/digi test? Keeping everything crossed for that FRER tomorrow!

Pug, sounds very promising for you!

Think AF is due here today. Don't feel like it's going to arrive at the moment but last month that changed very quickly. Have the necessities supplied with me in a ridiculous attempt to jinx it!

Sk1pper, hope you're feeling better this morning. When we thinking about TTC I was an avid watcher of OBEM but I tend to avoid it now.

alexia that's frustrating! I didn't think that digis were any more sensitive than ICs though? I couldn't see anything on ICs when I tested and then got a faint pos on FRER at 11dpo. I've been thinking though, b-complex messes around with your LP. I took 50mg to try to extend mine so taking 100mg (I think you said you were on?) could definitely be giving you a longer LP and hence higher temps at this stage. In which case it's a sign that it's doing its job and doesn't mean anything either way for whether you might get a BFP. The bit that makes me excited about you chart is that it seems triphasic. I think getting a FRER for tomorrow is probably a good idea. It seems unlikely that AF will appear today with a temp that high. FX for you and sorry for the limboland but I think longer LP is a good result either way

Hi girls cheering you all on especially upcoming testers - I can feel some BFPs in the air 🤞🏼

You ladies are the best, thank you all!

So I left the bathroom quite quickly (8mins) after doing this ic this morning as I'd lost all hope by this point. When DH got up about an hour after I asked him to check my tests and there was this line. Obviously it could be an evap. Need to use a FRER tomorrow badly!

Music I thought that about B100 too. Only thing is I've never ever had temps this high ever. By 8dpo they're always going down as well and I mostly spot at 9dpo and I've had no blood yet. The wait is crazy!

skipper symptoms have been couple of headaches, bits of nausea on and off especially at night, no sore boobs which is different and also just burning up! Temp before bed last night was 37.24 and I'm not ill, although I did have a sniffly nose a few days back. I'll post my 'specifics' in a min.

Are you testing Kathrino or waiting until tomorrow? Have everything crossed for you!!!

alexia this must be very frustrating but like others have said perhaps it's just due to the short period of time between when conception could have taken place and now...fx for you

alexia I see that! I seriously think that's your BFP there! I had the same thing with ICs - the faintest, tiniest smudge coming up well outside the time. I reckon you could do a FRER with SMU and it would show. Can you go and get one??

Morning ladies! Ooo keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you Alexia. Just wondering, did you find out you had a luteal phase defect just from temping or have you had tests? I have only started temping the last two cycles, and have added the last one to fertility friend, and while I thought it had been good, as fertility friend shows the coverline it showed that my temp dropped below coverline 4 days after I thought I had ovulated and so only stayed consistently high for 9 days. I know two cycles are not enough to see a pattern as I could just be taking temps at wrong time etc, but it's worrying me.

So my day 21 bloods were apparantly normal but haven't got hold of the print out yet. I did manage to get an appointment next week with the gp who I think will be more willing to trigger tests now as opposed to the one I saw in December who was still on the '2 years' train of thought

It's definitely a line alexia !! Eek looking forward to seeing a frer 🤞🏼
