Happy New Year! It's 2017 and it's OUR year

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Loving the chart Alexia it made me wush i still charted but i didnt like watching my temps dip and dh said it didnt feel natural ( i dont discus opk's with him! )

Re the fertility deals, i cant be trusted to own pregnancy tests as i feel compelled to pee on them all then get disappounted. i always buy the 3 for £10 trying for a baby vitamins and always think i wont need them all. I've bought three sets now

Oh and is it tmi to tell you this cycle is the best ewcm i've ever had. I keep getting excited when it appears

I really do t think this is our month but am strangely not stressed at all. Maybe it's tab because I know I'm making an appt for an HSG this month and I'm resigning myself to ivf. Either way, the lack of stress is nice. Just went out for drinks (not crazy) and felt good to just carry on life as normal.

Alexia - your chart is fab and I can see lots of well timed BD. I really hope the witch stays away and this is your cycle xx

Kwick - thanks for the heads up, my supplies are fully stocked from my clinical trial at the moment but it can't help to get some more. I do love to POAS for pregnancy at the moment.

Yeah Kwick the ClearBlue one. It's more effort than it's worth tbh, you have to pee in a pot every day for like 35 days and mail it to them. They give you their good opks (the flashing smiley face one) and two decent pg tests. Then at the end of the trial you get another cycles worth of opks.

Hi all. So came off the pill 30/12 - withdrawal bleed just coming to an end CD#6 When would you suggest I start using my OPKs and what time of day is best? I have the Amazon ones somebody already posted. thanks!

Also really sceptical I'll get a bfp first time.

Broken out in spots, not that it's too unusual just they usually arrive with AF !!

I was on the pill, Yasmin. Finished in Oct with no withdrawal bleed. But 29 day cycles started back okay and I should have been ovulating around 29th dec. using the clue app to track since I came off the pill. I'm 30 btw. Spent the last 10 years trying to avoid this so it's a strange feeling being excited to find out

Also I finished my pill half way through a pack I was taking half heartedly as we were away on holiday. Lots of baby talk so I just stopped taking it at all. Probably a bad move as it's taken a couple of months to feel on a normal cycle again

Ooooh kwick I didn't know they existed either! This might be the solution for us, I have to put my drying tack next to the radiator or nothing dries for days !!

Sooo I am testing tomorrow morning with FMU I think because OH is going away for the weekend (I have to work unfortunately!). However, I bought these Internet cheapies and some comments are not really good on them! I might have to pop into Sainsburys and test on Saturday instead! We'll see what happens but not hopeful anything happened this month.

Hoping for loads of BFP for the ones testing in the next few days too !!

I was on microgynon, yes. Kind of mucked up when I was coming off but my last pill was 25.12.16 and, because of my muck up, my withdrawal bleed ended then too. (I forgot 3/4 pills about 4 days before stopping so withdrawal bleed started on 23.12.16)

Currently being treated for a lower UTI which is chucking loads of similar AF symptoms at me .. Ive never want a period so bad in my life.

Cos I mucked up n it's my first time off the pill in a long time I know my cycles are likely to be outta wack but I can't even track them atm

I came off the pill half way through my pack too! Had been on pill for nine years so I really don't know what to expect!! I'm trying to go with the flow but I'm not good at that! Even got DH on wellman conception vitamins! No harm in being healthy..... I think I'm losing the plot already haha

I should take myself on a trip to boots for some vitamins and some tests! I panicked when I came off the pill with no bleed after half a pack. I've been on and off though the years and my cycle was always regular.

Good luck for your tests over the next few days, how many days before your missed AF do you think I should test?
