When to test with OPK & do I trust the result?

Hi Ladies,

Hubby & I TTC #3. I'm 11 days into my cycle. Last cycle was 33 days long, an this was my first true cycle after coming off the pill. I wasn't sure what day to start testing so started on day 8. My AF only lasted four days. This morning I got a Flashy smiley after 3 days of solid O - im using the Clearblue digital ovulation kit. It says it can pick up my four most Fertile days. Would this be a true result. So confused.
I conceived my two daughters within my first cycle for both of them so anxious it won't happen as quickly this time.

Was it a solid smiley or O?

Solid smiley means peak fertility on them

It was 3 days of O (no high or peak) an I've now got two days of flashy smileys, (High) not got a solid yet, so I'm thinking I may be due to ovulate this week. I think???

I had 4 mornings of flashing smileys in a row and then had pain this afternoon so did another early evening and got a solid smiley 👍

Sounds like it, what time are you testing? If you're getting a flashing smiley in the morning, try later on and you could get a solid

I've been testing 1st thing in the morning. I'll try a test tonight an see how I get on. Hope I don't miss it.

I would just get BDing now to be honest and do it every other day for a week or so. That should really cover you and hopefully when you get your solid you'll already have some sperm on its way ☺

I got a flashy Smiley yesterday morning that was my 3rd in a row but tested again last night finally got my solid smilie 😀 and again this morning.
We BD on Monday and last night, an I'll try an BD tomorrow too. Don't wanna wear hubby out lol.
Hopefully that should cover the important window.

Laz once you get your solid smiley that stays on the screen for 48 hours so there's no need to test again, just get BDing as you have done!
