2nd line on an OPK a week after ovulation means...

Ovulated CD15 now on CD21 and feeling generally under the weather, really sluggish digestive system too (though that could be all the Christmas related cheese). I've read that OPKs can pick up hcg so thought I'd just see. Faint second line came up in around 3 minutes. Am I jumping to ridiculous conclusions?

Very early for middle of the day positive, but anything is possible! When are you due af? Probably best to wait a few days and test again using fmu

I might be wrong but OPK's will usually always pick up some kind of line as we always have a small amount of LH present. If the line is faint then it's possible that that's the reason. Probably best taking an actual HPT

You can have a faint second line at any point during your cycle. It does not mean anything. An ovulation test is only positive if the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. You are only 6dpo and a hpt would not pick up hcg yet.

I thought I was clutching at straws. AF due Tuesday. Ah well, bloody 2WW continues!!

Test yesterday and today both have very faint lines on them, desperately trying not to get my hopes up as they're proper squinters! Had a chemical in October and had positives for 5 days before hand. AF due tuesday

Have you tired with an actual pregnancy test rather than OPKs? You always get a faint second line on an OPK.

Yeah both were with preg tests. One was a Frer and the other a Boots early test. Oh can see the lines too so not going totally insane. Just feeling a bit down about it, 6th cycle of trying now, spoilt with my first as we caught on first cycle. Totally just expecting AF to arrive on Tuesday

Have woken up with thrush this morning too!

I got my BFP 9dpo and the wait for the date of AF to pass was horrendous. 22 weeks today though :-)
